Starting over

*Max's POV*

I was walking in the forest, the leaves crinkling at my feet, I sighed as I walked through the autumn forest breathing in the fresh air. The sun was setting which made the light come down on me more making me look up through the tree's, I stumbled on a branch and my glasses came of my face when I jerked my head back down to regain balance, I bent down to pick up my glasses, they were slightly damaged in the frame, I put them back on and turned around to start walking back to Adam's house since  we were having a sleep over there, I heard a crack behind me, I whipped around to see what made that noise, to see a puppy, I think golden retriever standing in the path behind me, I kneeled down and the puppy came running at me excitedly, I smiled and laughed petting the soft puppy, I saw no collar or any sort of name tag, I'll take the puppy with me, I have no name for the puppy, I mean I felt bad for this puppy, he had scratches all over his back and his front leg, it looked like a cat used him as a scratching post. I started walking looking back to make sure the puppy was following me, he ran up to walk beside me, I think I will keep this puppy, it's so fluffy and cute. I returned to Adam's house to see Barney and Red standing on the porch looking worried "Uh are you guys okay?" I asked them concerned "MAX THERE YOU ARE!!!" Barney screamed "Where is everyone else?" I asked making sure I still had the puppy with me "THEY WEN-" Red said spotting the puppy, he ran to the puppy and started petting it "Where'd he come from?" Red asked looking up at me smiling "When I was walking I found him" I responded to Red's question "What's its name?" Barney asked in awe at the adorable puppy "Oh yeah I need to call Corey and Preston" he said in realization while pulling out his phone "Why?" I asked him making a 'What the fuck face' "Well there the two teams that went out searching for you" Barney said calling Corey "What? but it's like ten" I said sitting on the ground to pet the puppy with Red, "Well everyone was really worried" Red said focus still on the puppy "Can I suggest a name?" Red said looking at me "Yeah sure I don't have a name for him" I say waiting for a response "Andy" he said looking up at me once again "I like it, okay Andy it is" I say smiling at the new name for the puppy "There on there way" Barney says tucking his phone back in his pocket "Hey I have a collar for him" Barney said pulling a dog collar from out of his pocket "Where in the hell did you get that?" I asked in confusion while smiling "Well Adam had one and didn't need it so he gave it to me" he said throwing it to me, I put it on Andy, now I just need a name tag, "Thanks Barney" I say, Red hot up and walked back on the deck brushing the remaining grass off of his jeans, I picked up Andy and brought him to the deck as well, Red sat down on the swing, Barney sat next to him, I sat down in front of him putting Andy on the chair beside me, but before I did grabbed a pillow and put it on the chair, I set him down and almost immediately fell asleep, Red surprisingly fell asleep already, his head was leaning on Barney's shoulder, Barney was blushing like crazy, I raised my eyebrow and stared at him, till it hit me "Wait a sec, Barney do you have a crush on Red?" I say very curious to know the answer, "Well- I- uh.... Yes I-I have a crush on Red" he said really embarrassed, I swear I saw Red smile for a second but it could just be me, "Redney is know my otp" I say smiling really hard trying not to laugh "Well Mithross is still mine" Barney said making me freeze and blush, I still like Ross even though we aren't together anymore, it's not because we were fighting or anything, remember when he kissed me at the airport? well that was kinda unexpected, Who are you talking too?, uh mind your own business, your going insane how would you know? one your talking to yourself, Oh.... "Where are they?" I said getting out of my aurgument with myself, "Adam just texted, they said they will be here any second" he said staring at his phone, he looked over at Red than Andy, he went back to his phone, "Yo" I turned my head to see Corey, Jason, Jerome and Tim "Hi" I said smiling "WHERE WERE YOU?!" Tim screamed scaring me, Red, Barney, and Andy, Red fell off the swing, Barney threw his phone up, Andy barked probably scared to death, and I kicked Jason in the knee "I'm sorry Jason" I say panicked "You. Have. A. PUPPY?!" Jerome said running to pet Andy "Where'd he come from?" Jason asked rubbing his knee "I just found him in the woods, no collar or anything" I say too Jason, "HEY MEH BUDDER BUDDIES!!!" I heard Adam yell, Andy jumped out of the chair and ran to Ross, "Hi there" Ross said picking up Andy, "Who own's this dog?" Ross says "I do" I say smiling "He's adorable" he says playing with Andy "*So are you*" I mumbled "What?" everyone says at the same time, my face started heating up, "Uh nothing" I say too quickly. Everyone was going outside when Ross grabbed my shoulder "Max I found something cool, come look" he says walking into the field "Okay" I say walking towards him. We walked for a bit, then I saw a small light shining threw the tree's, we walked toward the light, we got to the tree line and walked in to see an area with trees surrounding it, there was a faint lighting from what looked like Christmas lights "Wow" I say looking around "It's awesome isn't it?" Ross said "Oh, I have one more surprise for you" Ross says looking at me "Sit on that" he said gesturing to a blanket on the ground, I sat down on the soft blue colored blanket, Ross walked into the trees and came back moments later smiling "What?" I ask smiling a little "Hey" I heard a female voice come out from behind the trees, Maddi walked out, with her long ginger hair in a high ponytail, and her big framed glasses, she was wearing almost the same shirt as me but blue instead of red, she even had jeans like mine "Did you plan this?" I ask her "I was about to ask you that" she said chuckling "C'mere and give me a hug" I say standing up, she runs up and hugs me, "I missed you Max" she said smiling "Missed you too" I said, "I have to tell you something Max" she said hesitating a bit "What?" I asked confused "Max, mom and dad want to see us" she said scratching the back of her neck "Uh don't you like girl though?" I ask her confused as to why they would want to see us "Uh yeah, but they want to talk" she say shrugging "When?" I ask "tomorrow" she said "Wait they know you exist?" I said confused "No Adam said that he would tell you" she said "Well your coming with me" I said to her. Ross must have left because he wasn't there when we stopped talking, "I just remembered, we have to get back before they kill Andy" I said getting up "Andy?" she looked at me confused "My puppy" I say helping her up "YOU GOT A PUPPY?!" she made that high pitched squeal that Jess made when she found out Mithross was real, "Yes now let's go" I say walking out of the little fort Maddi not far behind. When we got back everyone was sleeping, except Barney and Adam, Maddi went to her spot and I sat down at the kitchen table with Adam and Barney, "Hey, how's Redney?" I ask smiling "Uh.... Okay" Barney says blushing "What?" Adam looks at us confused "Barn-" I was cut off by Barney quieting me "Barney has a-" again I was shh'd be Barney "BARNEYHASACRUSHONRED" I said fast "Redney, is starting up the engine, this ships sailing and it not makin any stops" Adam says normal on the outside, but probably freaking out on the inside, "well guys I'm going to bed goodnight" I say standing up "night" they both said at sync, I walked into the living room to see only two spots left, one beside Ross and one beside Red, I decided to go with Ross because Barney would kill me otherwise, I sat down beside Ross on the couch, the moment I did he cuddled into me making me blush like crazy, I tried moving him but his grip grew tight, I sighed and fell asleep, what a long day.
