Summary: 2nd year. Goyle goes to see what is taking Draco and (Y/n) so long. Turns out, a rough day leads to a comforting night.

"'Ey Gregory, what do you suppose is taking those two so long, we're going to be late for dinner." Vincent Crabbe complained to his friend, Gregory Goyle.

The two were currently waiting on Draco. Since (Y/n) (L/n) rushed in a few hours ago, Draco took here up to his room. They heard mumbling, sniffling and crying which was good meaning they weren't doing anything nasty. However, it was taking them forever. The memory of the situation was still on everyone's mind. From the time the three walked in here, to the part where Draco turned down Pansy's flirting, to the part where Draco to the part where he took the girl's (s/c) colored hand.

It was just another Friday in the Slytherin common room. The three walked back after their final lesson for the day and had about eight hours until dinner. So Draco decided to hangout in the common room where nobody else was. The three took a seat on the two couches. Draco had the one that was facing the left wall and the couch Goyle and Crabbe were on, faced the right side. It was pretty dark in the room. The only source of heat and light was the green, cackling fire that danced in the common room's fireplace, dark green, and silver banters hung down from the top of the wall next to the fire place.

Draco asked a simple question, "Well, have any of you seen her?"

The two goons looked at each other, speechless, along with dumbfounded and confused. She? Did Draco mean Pansy, Astoria, or (Y/n). Then again why would he go for (L/n) she wasn't a proper pure-blood. Well her parents were but she thought differently. She thought that muggles were intriguing and always talked about how jealous she was of Hermione Granger because she had 'advantages' that pure-bloods don't have. She was in Slytherin but was disgraced in the Slytherin name. Draco saw differently.

In Draco's mind, although he's never admit this to his father, or anyone, her way of thinking truly was fascinating. He did think that Hermione was better than him because she had something he didn't. She had a family full of love and support. (Y/n) was already disowned and abandoned, however still had to live at her manor because it was law, however it was a shame that she was turned into a muggle Cinderella, or Dobby, the miserable house elf. He knew the beatings she had gotten from home but still, a crush had grown inside of him since year one, day one. It hasn't left since and soon figured out that growing emotion.

After Draco had yelled at the two for a good hour or two, Parkinson came running in, after hearing that Draco was in here. She took a seat next to Draco and just started talking and flirting. However, seeing as he didn't like her back, he pretty much ignored her. She, stood up in a huff and stormed out of the room. Hoping that the girl's father gave (Y/n) a piece of her mind. After all, it was the (h/c) colored hair girl who supposedly, stole Draco away from her. Although he probably did. He always did. Rather it was either leaving lit match marks on her arm or making marks and bruising her.

After that, two minutes later, (Y/n) runs in, tears stung her eyes and looked like they were about to spill out. Her hair was messed up, her face was somewhat red. She didn't speak or anything, and immediately, Draco brought her up to his room.

Which is how everyone got to where they were now. However, everyone wanted to see the full extent of her injuries. Goyle finally gave in and went upstairs to the boys' dormitory area. After walking the darkening hallways and the dark-wooded doors, after passing by five of them he stood in front of the sixth door, he slowly opened the door after he didn't hear any noise. The sight left him absolutely puzzled and horrified. Why would someone do something like this to their child.

The girl, who was previously wearing a white turtleneck, who always looked like everything was okay, was now in a tank top and pajama shorts, every scar, cigarette mark, and bruise was now shown. 'Murderer' was carved into her upper right arm, 'blood traitor' was burned into her other upper arm. Bruises caressed her lower legs. Her face was tear-stained, but the red that was on it had vanished. Her eyes were closed and she was asleep, sprawled across the white sheets.

Draco laid beside her, his eyes closed and for once he looked peaceful, instead of that evil smirk he usually wore. His fingers were intertwined with girl's hand which laid on her stomach.

Goyle saw that the two were at peace and decided to leave them alone. He and Crabbe then decided to go dinner without Draco. Then stuffed their faces with whatever was on the table.

A/N: So, My friend at school read one of my one-shots in progress and said I made Draco too nice? Um, no one has made a complaint about that but I really would like your guys' feedback and requests. Thanks!
