History, you defined that word for me
What can I do to hold back these feelings I still have
When you're the one who thought me how to love?
We used to shine so bright
We used to talk all night
We have so much history,
Yet we lack chemistry
But you opened my naive eyes on how the real world works,
And let me tell you this, it's not all about fireworks
Maybe we got too overwhelmed with these feeling that we had
And that's the reason why we didn't work out,
Because our own selves needed to be found.
