It was a cold morning nearing Christmas. After a lot of lying to Pops about where I was heading to, I went up to Niall's place. Sharp by 10. I was thinking about what he was going to say.

Niall opened the door. He gave me a very tight 'horan hug'. Oh it was..........like the warmth of a fireplace in the snow.

Trust me. Rarely, you meet such guys who make you feel complete. If I was a pine tree, he was the forest of Alaska....he made me feel so wondrous.......because he was HIMSELF....not a masked guy trying to impress people..

And shall I tell you a secret...?.....I don't know why......I had a feeling that I knew him for a very long time...since the time I had met him....in fact since the time I had seen him on X factor......... I knew his eyes....I knew his smile.........

"where are the boys....Niall?"

"not here right now...." Niall said innocently

He looked at me and smiled. "sooo........." I said

"oh yeah.........sorry ....come in..."

"hmmmmm........" I walked in. The house smelled like vanilla......ah!...... I was thinking of vanilla icecream and butte...

"Nuts! Hey .......come on gurl......lets check my garden out.."

"ohkaay..........gods Niall you are so freaking clean!!." I said admiring the shining surface of the dining table

"yeah...well ....that's not much............I just start cleaning stuff when I miss my mom....." He gave me a sad smile.... "well anyways...lets check my garden out.......I know you love plants and trees"

"well yes...lets check it out....."

In the cold winter morning, with me wrapping myself inside 2 baggy sweaters and still feeling cold, I suddenly felt warmth inside me when I saw his garden........ There was a pond in the middle.....surrounded by shy hyacinths and daisies....the smell of the freshly watered cold grass filled the air bringing the smell of different roses with it.....the whole thing combined to form a beautiful sensual symphony.

"so...you like it?"

"love it..." I breathed

"lets sit.." he pointed at the picnic cloth in the edge of the huge garden with a picnic basket on it

"WOAH!" I looked at him starstruck

"Well sorry its not much..........I couldn't drive you out to the country side......because I shouldn't be getting the cold air in my head...I have a bit of breathin....oh sorry...nothing"

"breathing problem Niall?"

"yes ...don't worry just a bit..." He looked down " Come on...lets sit."

I knew he had breathing problem and chest pain. Oh god....only god knows how I fought my tears back. I promised Louis that I wouldn't let Niall know that I knew about his cancer.
