Silverbelle was her name, Silverbelle Silence. No-one knew why, her parents though it was a suitable name for their little angel. Silver had grown up in rich family having everything she had desired. One sunny April day had changed that though when she was aged 12.

"Hey Silver, nice bag!" Melissa Brady complimented Silver as she walked down the hall to the exit of the school. Silver was used to this, being the most rich and spoilt girl in year 8 made everyone notice her.

"Thanks Lissy," She responded as she walked out. She reached the gates of the school where there was a crowd of people.

"Hey Belle!" They greeted her, people had so many names for her. Silver, Belle, Silverbelle, Bella. Her hair was a silvery blonde and she had blue eyes. Her hair kind of matches her name.

"Hey guys!" She smiled walking out of school. The walk from school to Mystic Road where Silver lived was about 5 minutes.

"Silv, wait up!" A voice called from behind her. She spun around and there walking up to her was Jodie Maxwell her neighbour.

"How's your day been?"  She asked her as they walked home together. The whole of the walk back they just casually talked like they always did.

As Silver opened the door to her house she heard yelling and screaming.

"You’re a cheating scum bag. Once I can just about forgive, twice, there's no hope in help!" she heard her mum scream, what. 'My dad cheated, when. This apparently isn't the first time as well.' thought Silverbelle.

"Mum Dad, what’s going on?" Silver asked walking through her house to the overly large kitchen they owned. Silver's house was like a mansion so many different rooms, that's what you get for being rich.

"Nothing sweetie!" Jodie Silence, Silverbelle's mother responded with a smile which Silver new to be fake.

"This isn't nothing. I heard you from you’re a cheating scum!" Silver shot back, her eyes tearing up.

"Look, mummy and daddy are just having a tiny little fight, nothing for my flower to worry about!" Timothy Silence, Silver's father told her whist ruffling up her hair. Jodie scoffed at that.

"Yea little fight!" Jodie muttered. She turned to her daughter once again.

"Silverbelle go and get out of your uniform so mummy and daddy can 'sort' this out!" She said using air quotes around sort. Silver sighed and grabbed her bag which was hanging from a chair.

"Look, Timothy, we aren't working. Let’s just file for a divorce and you can go off with Myra!" Jodie growled.

"It's Mara, and fine I will. But I want Silverbelle!" Tim agreed.

"No. Silverbelle is staying with me!" Jodie argued against him. They knew it was going to be a long night.

Everything had slowly begun to settle down for Silverbelle. She was currently living with her father and Mara White. Silver hated Mara and Mara hated Silver. Silverbelle got to stay with her mum every weekend and its way better. Jodie is currently in a renter flat and Silver loves it. Timothy has the mansion.

"Silverbelle come here!" Mara called. It was a Thursday and Silver has only just really got back from school. Silver trudged down the stairs to see Mara sat on the sofa doing nothing.

"Hey get me a cola!" She demanded swapping the channel from Jeremy Kyle to Revenge.

"No, I have homework!" Lied Silverbelle, there was no way she wanted to be a slave to Mara. Silver ran upstairs, she was happy her room had a lock and bolt. She could hear Mara using such foul language as she came up the stairs and practically broke Silver's door.

"I’m busy!" Silver called why in reality she was sat on her bed playing Freaky Frogs.

"Really doing what?" Questioned Mara.

"History homework!" She stated. Mara spent 5-10 minutes quizzing Silverbelle on her homework but she finally gave in.

At around 6PM Mara came up again and just started randomly yelling at Silver. Silver thought she was drunk as she was a little all over the place.

"OW!" Screamed Silver. Mara had slapped her, it was so unexpected.

"Pack up your bags now, I'm going to take you to your wreck of a mother. You’re no longer welcome here!" Mara said. This made Silver burst out crying. She hated it here but never thought she'd be kicked out, she'd miss her father, just a little.

Doing as she was told Silverbelle packed up all her possessions from books to clothes and laptop. Overall it filled 2 suit cases and 3 bag packs.

"You must bring everything you want to take, down in one trip!" Mara barked from the bottom of the stairs. It was hard to take all of her things at once but as she didn't want to leave any of it Silverbelle somehow managed it.

Mara pulled up at Jodie's flat. As soon as Silverbelle got her things out of the car and closed the door Mara drove off, speeding way past the limit. Silver knocked on the door and waited for her mother to answer.

"Baby, I thought you were coming tomorrow morning?" Jodie exclaimed as she saw who was at the door. 'So did I' Silverbelle thought.

"Mara kicked me out," Silver whispered. Jodie pulled her into a huge hug

"What did your father do?" She asker Silver.

"He was out, working I think," She responded. Jodie scoffed and pulled her daughter inside.

"Well you will be permanently staying here as I don't want my angel being treated like that!" Mumbled Jodie into Silver's hair.

"Timothy, its Jodie would you care to explain why your arse of a girlfriend has kicked out Silver?" Jodie hissed down the phone.

"Yeah, she’s here and is staying here permanently!" She responded down the line.

"No!" To Silver it was a one sided conversation. She was happy that she got to stay with her mum though, it was much better for her.

(Nearly 6 months later)

"Silver, I have bad news for you!" Jodie began, she had been sick for a few weeks know, so Silverbelle knew that the bad news would be really bad news.

"What is it mum?" Asked Silver, she had turned 13 not to long ago and had to look after herself as her dad never wanted to see her again, he's starting his own family. He even had the nerve to tell her that to her face.

"I have cancer, it was found late and I am going to die soon!" Whispered Jodie. This was hard on both of them. Silver had known other family who wanted her. She would end up in an orphanage or worst. Have to live with her father.

"No, mum!" Silver was crying it felt like everything in her life was being pulled apart. Well really it was.

"It gets worst!" Jodie whispered.

"How?"

"I have to spend my remaining time in hospital, it's a goodbye know. Forever!" Jodie was about to choke on her tears. This was crushing them both. Someone came out of the kitchen and helped up Jodie, they left together into a emergency ambulance car.

"Goodbye Mummy, forever and always will you be in my heart!" Said Silver.
