The mistake

I went on in life for the next few more weeks with school stuff. Projects and test were basically thrown at us. Luckily I had ness to keep me going. The big bad bully, who I later found out was named Boris, still stared me down in the halls. It was kinda creepy but nothing worth concerning others about. It had been about three months since school started when there was a new/old transfer student coming. She had been living in an other country for some time. Her parents were major help the world kinda people. Or so ness explained one night. The next day ness and I were sitting at lunch when a girl I didn't know walk up and sit down on the other side of ness and lean her head on his shoulders. "Oh ness how I've missed you." She said. I was a little jealous that ness had some one leaning on him. But then looking at ness I saw how uncomfortable ness was. He managed to unclamp her hands (which were now around ness in a hug) then push her away. The new comer looked offended like she was punched in the face. There was a silence that seemed like it would last forever. At that moment Hana walked up. Hum no I don't think that was her name. "Oh hi Ana." Proclaimed the blond who had just hugged ness. "Hey pula how was life in the third world?" Ana said in reply. So the blondy was Pula. "It was awful. The humidity mad my hair unmanageable my feet hurt because the roads were more like a pile of rubble and my parents actually made me spend time with the people in the village." Pula said in absolute disgust. "Well pula that's part of why your parents go to those places is to help them so that they don't have to worry about the things you just complained about." Ana said mater o' factly. "At any rate you'll never believe the new cupel that's taken the school by storm." Ana said look in at me and ness. Pula perked up at the new topic "well it's not me and ness we never told any one about our love, IS IT YOU AND JEFF!" Pula yelled. When pula talked about her and ness I looked over at him he leaned over and told me that she was imaginative and thought that try had something that never existed. I personally felt batter but pula was still squabbling about who this new cupel is. "Ana just tell me who it is." Pula pleaded. "Well what it I told you it was between me and this cute one next to me." Ness finally spoke up. Pula looked over at ness shocked. Then laughed like ness was just pulling her leg. I then leaned over and said hi. At this she finally stopped laughing. She looked at me just realizing I was there. I guessed by the puzzled look she was thinking long and hard about what ness just said. As if just noticing pula was stunned ness reached over pulled me into a close hug that ended with a kiss right on my mouth and I kissed back at this unexpected but very much welcomed kiss. Ana was the first to laugh at pula. Who now believed what ness had just said. The shocked expression of their kiss (that was now extending well past a minute) left everyone around to ither go aw or say sorry to pula. Boris walked in at this moment and saw the two kissing. He walked right up to the two and pushed them apart yelling so everyone could here "there will be no gay in or around me and this school do you understand me!" Most people returned to eating lunch. Boris was still fuming about what he saw. Ness awkwardly started to speak "w-well ya see...Boris-" he was cut off with a punch to the face. Boris then turned on me and I was scared. Yes I know Thats not saying since I'm almost always scared but he was several feet taller than me and very angry. The only thing I could think to do "PK FREEZE!" Boris was then frozen solid. "L-l-Lucas...what was that." I flinched at the voice turning around to see none other than Claus standing there staring at me and the now frozen bully. It was the one thing I wanted him to never find out about me. I assumed the worst and ran off while Claus screamed for me to come back and answer his many questions. Before I knew it I was in the park a few blocks from the school. I found a secluded place and began to cry thinking about what would happen to Claus now that I probably started a chain reaction. And I could lose Claus at the end of it.

A few hours later ness came by and found me at the park. Damn I forgot he could find me just by reading my thoughts. I looked up at him tears still in my eyes threatening to flow like Niagara Falls for the tenth time. He didn't say anything just sat down and hugged me. I cried into his shirt for what felt like hours when he finally said "hey Luke don't worry about a thing Claus will be fine I'm suer and besides he's your brother he should understand your reasoning for not telling him. So just calm down ok." "W-well..." I started shakily still crying and sniffling a little "last time Claus remembered who he was the guilt was to much and you know the rest from there." I could see ness was deep in thought like he was trying to plan out his next move. He chose just to kiss me. It wasn't hard or demanding, it was a gentle warming kiss.
