Ness why?

That night I skipped dinner and went straight to bed. Ness came in about an hour later and said "you doing all right with Claus being mad at you like that?" "Yeah we worked it out and made up." I smiled as ness came and crawled into bed with me. His parents knew that we were using the same bed so they upgraded to a double so we had a bit more room. Tomorrow Claus was going to come over and eat breakfast with us because I promised him omelets and life would be good.

The next morning Claus came over in a more calm state than yesterday. Ness who just woke up and sat down at the table waiting to be feed Claus sat next to him and they stayed silent for several minutes. I set down all three plates before ness noticed Claus next to him. "C-Claus were did you from?" "Ness wake up a little and you would know he was here before you got up." I said. We sat in silence eating. If you can call what we were doing eating. I saw ness lazily picking at his omelet with out eating it so I take it he didn't know I push some stake in there. Claus was in a moment of pure bliss. And I hardly ate. After our breakfast was over and Claus left. He wanted to join the soccer team and tryouts were today. Ness and j went upstairs and played video games for the remainder of our night.

Life was pretty good after that day. Claus joined the soccer team and they went to states. Ness joined the baseball team and they went to states as well. I joined no sports what so ever. But I was fine with that. Claus started to date Ana who was also a soccer player. And Boris never bothered us for the remainder of the semester. Exams were pretty easy as well. Or at least they were for me. Turns out Claus and ness just barely passed. Christmas was coming up soon so Claus and ness were very much excited. Claus had been spending the night the night with us for a few days now. Which I'm fine with seeing how we would spend Christmas as a family and this way we still had each other. On Christmas morning there was a knock on the front door. Ness's parents called me and Claus down to see who it is. Standing in the living room was non other that our dad flint. We ran to him overjoyed that he made it here. He gave me and Claus a gift that turned out to be our own smart phones. Claus and I looked in confusion as to why he would have spent all the money to get us phones and a data plan. We weren't poor or anything we just couldn't afford nice things like these. Our dad noticed our concern "well boys since your so interested I just got a promotion along with a nice pay raise to go with it." We hugged our dad again knowing that this was the best present ever. We spent the rest of the day talking about the things we've done and who he was doing fine and other stuff like that. A few days later our dad had to go home to attend to his new job. We said by at the airport and went back to ness's house. The new semester starts tomorrow so we had to get ready for it.

The next day was uneventful. Most of the classes involved teachers who just welcomed us back to school and all that. My class schedule didn't change however ness had to switch his math and gym classes. It was mostly day in day out for the first month or so. At lunch one day ness was called to the office to discuss some privet information. I wondered if it was anything serious or not. I meet ness after school out front. He had a look on his face that told me something bad had just happened. He looked me in the eyes and said "Lucas i-i-i-it came back." "Ness what do you mean it came back? Who or what is this it any way?" So many things went through my head from relief that no one died to dread that ness was scared as hell. "Lucas think of the most evil thing possible and then think of this as the even greater evil that mentored over the thing you thinking about." "So porky's evil teacher of evil?" " well the two did work mutually." "Oh then I guess we have an issue."

The very next day ness left without saying any thing. He left a letter saying that he didn't want to be fallowed and all that stuff. But what really popped out was the last line about a chance he might fail and never come back. Ness's parents were just as shocked. I couldn't believe he left with out even saying good by. I had to get in touch with him as quickly as possible. I called his phone which he left under his pillow. And I couldn't use PSI because it took way to much concentration to make contact. Not to mention he probably didn't want to talk in the first place so I would have to break in. And he was probably miles away. From there the best option was to call the principle and see what he told ness.

After some large amount of persuading by Ness's parents he told us the Giygas was being revived. I've never heard the name but if he worked with porky I already hate him. Damn if only I knew PK teleport. I could stop ness or help him. I felt like I was stuck here in this house unable to do anything. It was just like that day. Back when my mom died. It was frustrating how useless I was. Even now with PSI I can't do anything. The principle said that Giygas was to be reborn up in some mountains a few miles away. We wouldn't be able to reach the top for a few days seeing that there were no roads on the mountain. And we didn't have that long. I knew one person who could help me. And that was Claus.
