Chpt 3: Trouble

Maka's P.O.V--- After everything that happened at the death room, we all went our separate ways. Soul and I walked back to our apartment in silence. I grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze, even though I'm not sure if everything is going to be okay. I let go of his hand and we continued our walk to the apartment. We reached the apartment and Soul sat down on the couch. "I'm gonna start on dinner." I said. He nodded silently. I knew that he wasn't going to eat a lot, so I ended up just cooking some simple ramen up. I put it in a bowl and brought it over to Soul and sat it infront of him. We both quietly ate our food while thinking about what happened in the past two days. I put the dishes away and sat next to Soul. He laid his head on my shoulder and we just sat there for a while. I looked over and saw that Soul fell asleep. I smiled as he looked peaceful while asleep. I then slowly grabbed him and walked him in his room. I put him in his bed and pulled the covers up over him. I gave him a kiss on his forehead and I went to get ready for bed. After my bath, I changed into my pajamas and put my hair in their little puffballs to sleep in. I went to check on Soul and saw that he was still asleep, so I left his room, but left his door if I needed to get in fast, and went to my room. I fell asleep and it was nice. Though I was awakened by screaming. I jumped out of bed, and ran to Soul's room and noticed that he was screaming in his sleep. I ran over and started shaking him. "Hey Soul, it's okay, I'm right here" I said He woke up and sat up fast. I noticed he was shaking, so I pulled him in for a hug. I started whispering in his ear that everything was going to be okay. He stopped shaking and put his arms around me. "I think I'm gonna be okay." He said. I smiled at him. "Please don't leave me." He said. "I'll be here all night with you." I said. We both laid down in bed together and we just cuddled. Soon enough, Soul fell asleep. "Night Soul" I said as I cuddled into his chest. Thankfully, we both were able to get a full night's rest. I woke up and noticed that Soul was still asleep. I slowly slipped out of bed and made sure that I didn't wake Soul up. I smiled as he seemed so peaceful asleep. I then made my way out of his room and went to change for the day, since it is a school day. I then started working on breakfast. I soon started hearing rustling from Soul's room. "Morning Soul, breakfast is almost ready." I said. He soon came out in his clothes for school. "Morning Maka, thanks for staying with me last night." He said. "You're welcome. Now eat some food before we leave for school." I said. He nodded and grabbed a plate. We soon finished and got ready to leave for school. I heard a knock at the door. "Coming." I said. When I opened the door, I saw that it was Tasha and Mizu. "We thought that since we live next door, that we could just walk to school together, if that's okay with you." Mizu said. "I think that sounds like a good idea." Soul said. I nodded. We grabbed our stuff and walked out the door. We started walking to the school. "So are your friends going to be at the school today?" I asked. "Yeah, they'll be there." Tasha said. "They'll be patrolling the area basically, and also we're in charge of them, because sometimes Natsu and Grey will randomly fight, and Grey will somehow lose his clothes. Basically just a big mess." Mizu said. I laughed. "Sounds like our group of friends, minus the stripping part." I said. We continued our walk to the school, talking about our friends and seeing how similar they are.When we got to the outside of the school, we saw that Natsu and Grey were fighting. "And of course this is what we come to, you two fighting." Mizu said. "What are you even fighting about?" Tasha asked. "He started it!" They both said at the same time. "I don't care who started it, I just wanted to know why you started this." Tasha said. "And this is why we were keeping you guys apart." Erza said. "You guys were on the complete opposite sides of the school, cause we don't need you breaking anything." Lucy said. Grey and Natsu continued to argue. I heard Mizu sigh and she walked up to them. She grabbed each of their heads and bashed them together. "Shut up, I don't care who started it, or why you're fighting, but I need you two to cooperate and not fight as we have bigger things to deal with." Mizu said to them. Erza nodded. "Now maybe if you two actually did what we told you do, you wouldn't get into stupid fights. Now you both go to your stations and stay there." Lucy said. "And no fighting random things, especially you Natsu." Erza said. "Hey!" Natsu said "She's not wrong, I mean you would fight your own shadow if you could." Tasha said. Mizu laughed. After a while, they finally went their separate ways. "Do you deal with that everyday?" I asked. "Basically, but I wouldn't change it for the world." Mizu said. "Yeah, they keep things interesting, and it makes for good entertainment back at the guild, and we like to get involved at times also." Tasha said. "Yeah, sometimes we have to put them in their place and show them who's boss." Mizu continued. They both laughed. "Sounds like what we go with Black*Star, and Soul" I said laughing. "Hey, that idiot always drags me into it." Soul said "But you always go along with it, without any questions, and are we not going to about how you wanted to fight Kid and Black*Star didn't drag you in that." I said. "Fine, I do often fight, but it's fun, cause you won;t let me do that unless we are on a mission." He said. "Well we should probably get to class, the others are probably waiting for us." Mizu said. I nodded. "Okay Erza, if you need Tasha, Sora, Riku, or I, come and get us." Mizu said. "Alrighty. I will also keep Natsu and Grey in check." She said, "Let's get to class." Mizu said. We walked into class, and we saw that the others were already there. "About time you guys show up, it seems like we've been waiting years for you." Black*Star said. "Sorry, had to break up a fight between Natsu and Grey, and then we got to talking about things." Mizu said. "And those two were with us, so that's why it took us so long." Tasha said. Riku laughed. "Well sit down, class is about to start." Professor Stein said. We all sat down in our seats while class started. I started taking notes on what Stein was telling us. While we sat there listening to him drone on about something I looked over at Soul. I saw that he disassociated and was deep in thought. I put my pencil down, and grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. He blinked then looked down at my hand. I smiled at him, and went to take my hand away to continue taking notes, but Soul tightened his grip. I left my hand there and just struggled taking notes without the paper being held down. Throughout the whole class, Soul kept his hand in mine. "Class dismissed." Professor Stein said. I watched as Mizu and Tasha stood up with Riku and Sora. "We're gonna go check on the others before the next class starts. You guys stay put, and don't do anything stupid, because we don't need anything happening." Tasha said. "I don't need a babysitter." Black*Star said. "Well you do at this moment, because you are weaponless and vulnerable to attacks, so sit down and stay here." Mizu said, a little agitated. I saw Soul glance down. I squeezed his hand. "Just listen for once Black*Star. Just because you hate staying in one place doesn't mean you need to complain. We're doing this for our partners sake." I said. Black*Star sighed. "Fine I'll listen cause you have a point." Black*Star said. Tsubaki let out a sigh of relief. "Good, now Stein and Marie are going to be in here while we are going and checking on the others and making sure that some of our protective spells haven't been tripped yet." Mizu said. They then walked out of the room and started doing their rounds.

Tasha's P.O.V. --- As we walked down the hall I let out a sigh. "I wish that Black*Star would just cooperate and not fight with us about every little thing that we ask of them to do for their protection." I said. "I agree. Like I get that he can use his soul wavelength as a weapon, but that only can go so far without his weapon to amplify his wavelength." Sora said. We walked outside and noticed the flames from the candles were out. "Either there was a fight and Natsu needed the fire, or Natsu just got hungry." Mizu said. "Let's hope it's the second one, because I didn't sense anything and they didn't contact us." Riku said. "Well the only way to find out is to go find the others." I said. We started searching for where the others went. We walked around the whole school and saw that Natsu was asleep on the ground. I threw an ice shard at Natsu and that woke him up good and fast. "No sleeping on the job, and don't eat the flames, cause now we have to relight them." I said. I sighed and jumped up to the different candles and lit them so that Kid wouldn't throw a fit later. By the time we were done, I went back inside to the classroom and got ready for class. We sat down and I listened to class while also trying not to fall asleep. At some point Mizu had to nudge me. Though my sleepiness was put aside when I heard a crash.

Author's POV- 

"The plot thickens." I said, looking at the others sit there. "Should I be scared?" Sora asked. "Maybe, but that's up to you." I said. "Let me at them I can fight them myself." Black*Star said. "Nope, not allowed." Mizu said, grabbing him by the ear. "Well I don't own any of the Soul Eater or Fairy Tail crew. I only own my crew, which is Mizu, Tasha, Sora and Riku. I'll see you next time. Bye." I said.
