The True Mystery of Sonic SplitBoom/Meeting Lemon Drop/Looking for an Answer ~ Chapter Nine

After defeating King Sombra's reign of darkness and chaos, all of us were able to get home safely as possible and celebrated as I gave a report to Princess Celestia about what happened in our mission to restore peace and dignity.

By the next day, we've done our individual ways before meeting up at the Golden Oaks Library and talked about the events recently these days. I haven't told everypony what I saw on the magic door at the castle of Princess Cadence and nopony have been suspicious about it.

Then, we got a complain from SplitFire's mom and we have to travel to CloudsDale with a hot air balloon. We knew who was Split's mom and she was a commander of the WonderBolts Academy.

SplitFire was nervous on confronting his single mom and we've tried everything to make him unnervous.

As we arrived the WonderBolts Academy, the WonderBolts lead us to the office of their mentor and left to train for their performance in a special event.

We found out that the problem was about the competition happening in CloudsDale Arena and Princess Celestia would be there to watch everything. SplitFire was shaking in nervous before I was able to lead him out of the office for some fresh air.

When we both were outside, he started do his three routines and flew high until I lost sight of him. Out of nowhere, I finally saw him hawk diving at such great speed towards the ground before he opened his golden-reddish-blue wings and dodged two to eight trees.

I cheered for him and he went back to the sky to begin his second routine: the cloud spinner. His second routine did the same thing and it was amazing!

The routine was showing off his Split Sonic Boom but he didn't know how it works and he just explained to me that his idol, Rainbow Dash, did the same thing at the competition and recieved first place.

He thought that the Sonic RainBoom was a legend but it was true when his teacher, Ms. Scootaloo, told him about her adventures with Rainbow Dash and the Mane Six. Turns out, he's the foal of SpitFire and a recarnaition of Rainbow Dash herself.

Back to the main routine, I tried not laugh at the situation that FlutterDaze, another pegasus, quietly cheered for him with a small tone and softness lingering in her tone. He got irritated before putting his tone and pitch a little bit louder. FlutterDaze, in return, took a deep breath and yelled out her smallest yet softest 'yay' to him, causing him to hoof-palmed himself.

I bursted out laughing and stomped the dusty greeny land before doubling over with laughter. "Yeah, yeah. Just laughed it all up, Moon." SplitFire scoffed flapping his wings while crossing his hooves infront of his chest and gave out an irritsted look. "S-Sorry!" I laughed before teleporting back to the WonderBolts Academy and found SpitFire waiting for me by the huge double doors.

"Clearly, us pegasi need to train a lot for the preparation on the upcoming events this season."

I nodded, "Is that all?"

SpitFire picked up her board with a wing before scanning the papers attached to it and look at me, "No, I need to assign you on a task."

I looked at her in confusion before shifting into a comfortable sitting position, "What kind?"

Placing down her board and showed it to me. Before I could say another word, I scanned the notes that she gave me and my jaw dropped in shock.
