Finding The Night

"Uggh."  I groaned 

I than got up from my leafy bed. I carefully moved around, trying not to step on Star, my 9 foot albino python and my twin brother, Skyline Song. I call him Sky, for short. We both haven't found our cutie marks, but people can very rarely tell us apart. Our only differences are that, I usaly have Star, my python around my waist and spine, and  he has a small scar behind his ear.

As soon as I was clear, I stretch and walked to the corner of my small wooden home. My huge dark black and purple wings were dragged behind me, as I picked up my  brush and started to comb out my dark purple main and tail. I than looked up to see Sky standing behind me, our dark brown eyes meeting each other's .

" Do you want the brush?" I asked
He nodded

Yawning, I than put gave him our brush, and walked over to the small wood oven I have. Carfully I put some tinder and a few logs in the oven. Then I grabed a small match and light the wood.

About 10 minutes later, the house was warm. Looking out the window I saw the sun had just barely rised, it's probably 8-ish or so.

" Star, wake up."
I stowly rubbed the top of her head, soon enough she opened her dark blue eyes.

"Finally, lets go find something to eat."
She looked up and licked my nose with the tip is her forked tongue. I smiled and grabed my cloak to hide my huge wings. With Sky trotting out right behind me, out the door.

We than walked out of our hut errr, slithered. Sky and I carefully moved around and looked around for any dangerous  timber wolves, sure enough since we live in the evertree forest, there was a few small pairs of eyes looking at me through the dense forest.

"Oh no! Star take off position." I mumbled, as soon as I said that the wolves charged

Very swiftly Star curled around my back left leg, and curling her body and head agenst my neak, waist and spine.

We than threw our abnormally big wings in the air, our cloaks falling over, luckely Star grabs them with her fangs. Sky and I took of at full speed and looked back down. All I see now are 7 timber wolves gathering tiny twigs and becoming one. 

"O no not again." I mumbeled, remembering how Sky got his scar behind his ear. I shuddered.

As fast as our wings can take us, Sky and I swiftly flew through the Evertree forest and into a small clearing, near a small wooden hut was. I quickly panicked and found a small chicken hut surrounded by a fence.

"Sky, hurry!" Right then a loud houl echoed from the forest.

I than ran to the hut and opended the top, and jumped in, just behind me Sky slid in through the front entrance. I than grabbed my cloke and put it on. 

Great, just great. I'm stuck in a chicken hut with a meat eating python, that so happens to love rats and chickens. I thought.

I glance at Sky and he gave me a nervous glance back. But then I heard what I thought was a door opening.

"What if they find us?" I whispered

"I don't think they will, I mean, you know they are pretty dumb." He whispered back.

I smiled and grabed Stars' neak and pulled her already open mouth away from a scared chicken.

"I promise Star we can eat later, just, can you poke your head out the coop to see if the timber wolves are still there?" I asked, she just stared but than she slithered to the entrance and poked her head out.

" O no, my chickens!" Screamed a pony.

" O no, Star take off position, you to Sky." I whispered

"Hey, your not the boss of me, besides, I'm older." He hissed back

"O come on Sky, it's only by 4 minutes and 7 seconds. As soon as that pony lookes in we fly as fast as we can to safty."

We nodded. I than heard the beat of wings.

O, great the pony might get us.

Sky and I took our stances, even though we barely fit in the coop, he had to find his wings a bit because they are a bit bigger than mine. Right than I felt claws on my back, making me yelp and jump up and fall out of the coop.

I heard a gasp, but the last thing I saw were a mix of black and pink.

..... Sky pov.

Ha, the pink pony fainted when Moon scared her. Carfully I turned Moon over, and saw 2 small punter marks in her flank.

"Great.... let's see where was Zecoras home again?"

Leaning over I placed Moon on my back and started off into the Evertree forest.

Finally, ugh, Moon is soooooo heavy. Even though she looks slim, might just be her wings? I think.

Walking over to the door I knock on Zecoras door.

"Zecora, we need your help. Moon got attacked by a chicken." I said
After saying that Moon began to stir.

"Ugh, what happened?" She questions

"You and the pink pony fainted."

"Wait, where's Star!" She said

" Oops, it's okay. She probably is going to eat a chicken of two, I saw he slithering back. I think"

"What, why didn't you grab her! She might get attacked by the chickens!" She screamed.

O great there goes her motherly side,ugh.

Finally the door opens, Zecora smiling at us.

"Hey." We say in unison.

"Hello, young ones. Come in,stop fighting." Zecora said

"Ok." We said

"What is the problem."

"Moon got attacked by a chicken." I said. Moon glared at me, but I new she would give up. I glance back at the door and saw Star slither in...with a small lump in her stomach.

"Well there's Star, Moon."

"Star! Woah, how many did you eat?" She said after seeing a huge lump in her stomach area. Star burped and a few large white feathers flew out.

...Moon POV

Sky had a small lump in her stomach.
Well there goes her dinner for tonight.

"Well, Moon and Sky, I enrolled you two into school. You do remember me saying you need an education, right?"

Did she just say what I think she said?
