RESPECT FAN FIC CREATORS

So I need to speak about a thing I've seen going on in the fan fiction/ fan art community.

Guys I'm going to straight out say it: don't insult fan fic writers or people who make fan art.

I'm not saying that people can't be criticized. It's part of being an artist. But don't  be a jerk. There is a difference between writing giving constructive criticism and just being a jerk. If you want the author to get better and you say WHY your not of it and suggest ways to get better or have a GOOD reason on why you don't like a part of a story then it's not hate. But if you just leave a comment like "this is freaking shite" and have no reason why then it's just hate.

Please respect creators. For one thing, they put THEIR time and resources into making into making their work. Even if you don't like something, respect the fact they at least put a little effort into it.

Another thing, you don't know what creators go through in their personal life. They could have depression, be suicidal, have self esteem issues, ect.

Also just be a decent human being. It goes a long way, I assure you.

And to those who target fan fic artists/writers who have a different ship then theirs, a ship that they don't like, or that make smut, don't be a jerk.

You don't have to like a ship or to like smut. I don't like smut. But do I go out of my way to attack fan fic creators who write it? NO! Why? Because I understand that different people like different things.

Theirs ships that I don't like, I don't attack creators who make things for it. For the same reason I don't attack people who make things that are NSFW. Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean other don't.

Just respect people, that's all you need to do.
