Normani's Point Of View

Well. I really just witnessed that.

I look at Dinah and Ally who are in the front seat. They sneak glances at each other every couple of seconds, and every time their eyes meet, they turn as red as a firetruck. I didn't expect this to happen, but eh. Here in Rosewood, expect the unexpected.

"What you want, Mani?" Ally asks suddenly, and I realize that we are in the drive thru right now.

"Chicken wings. Lots and lots of chicken wings." I say, and she nods.

"Mila?"

"A banana milkshake."

Ally orders our stuff and I listen to my music, trying to block out all thoughts.

Lauren's Point Of View

We drive back to the house after we get out food, eat, then everyone but Camz and I go back to sleep. I look at the smaller girl and shoot her a smile, and she returns it.

"So... I have an idea." She said, and I tilt me head.

"What would that be?"

She picks up the guitar sitting in the corner. Then she walks over to me and holds out a hand. I take it cautiously, and she leads me up to the roof.

"Camz, why are we in the roof?" I ask when she sits down, pulling me along with her to sit down also.

"I wanna play guitar right now." She said with a shy smile.

"And why am I here?"

"Because you're going to sing."

Oh, boy.

Camila's Point Of View

"Because you're going to sing." I say.

Lauren's eyes widened. I could tell I caught her off guard.

"I'm what?" She asks.

"Well, more like we... It's a duet." I say, strumming the instrument.

Lauren watches my fingers as I play random chords.

"What song?" She asks, and meets my eyes.

"You'll see." I respond, and I begin playing the song.

Once the song is done, I realize how close just actually just got to each other. My face turns red and I look down at the guitar.

"Well, uh... That was..."

"Amazing." Lauren finishes.

I nod and I can't bring myself to look her in the eyes.

"Um, Camz...?"

"Yes, Lauren?"

She takes a deep breath and opens her mouth to say something, but our phones beep at the same time, making her stop. We look at each other, then at our phones.

Unknown: What would happen if family found out about #Camren? I'm sure they would be... Interested...-A

Lauren's eyes widen in horror while I sit there, staring at the screen. Suddenly Lauren gets another text.

Unknown: Tell Miss Moving On how you feel, or I'll do it for you.-A

"Lo? What is A talking about?" I ask, and she shakes her head.

"Uh..."

"Mila? Laur? Are you guys up here?" I hear, and Normani pops up between us. "Woah, what happened? Why are you both looking like y'all seen a ghost?"

Lauren shows Normani the texts and her eyes widen and she looks at me.

"Oh... Uh, I think we should go inside." She says, and we nod and follow her back into the house. My phone buzzes, again, and it's another text.

Austin: Hey, can we talk?

Lauren grabs my phone quickly, and reads the text. She looks relieved but also annoyed. I can see she's responding and I raise an eyebrow at what she wrote.

Me: No. Go fuck yourself, Mawhore.

Austin: When the fuck did you get salty?

Me: When I found your cheating ass fucking three girls at once IN MY HOUSE

Austin: That was an accident

Lauren rolled her eyes and blocked Austin's number, gave me back the phone and stormed away.

I grabbed a banana off the counter and leaned against it, setting my phone down. Right as I was about to peel the banana, Lauren came back in. She grabbed the banana from my hand and pulled me into a kiss.

My eyes widened at the contact but I quickly recovered and kissed back, savoring the moment and not questioning why this was even happening. About 3 minutes later, she pulls away.

"Uh....." Is all I can manage to get out.

"I should've done that a long time ago, because, Camz, I like you. A lot. I'm tired now. Let's go to bed." She says, and pulls me upstairs.
