Chapter 3

Garnet smirked. "So you actually kicked his balls and he ran away?" Garnet asked Pearl again, giggling. "Y - Yeah" Pearl stuttered embarrassed. "He just deserved it" She continued still blushing. "Your brave love" Garnet said smiling at Pearl. Pearl felt her cheeks getting hot (as fuck) and looked down at the table.

Garnet sighted "I still have to go home in this shitty rain" she said. "Well, you can come home with me if you want to. my house is two blocks away from the cafe!" Pearl suggested still blushing. "You'd do that? I mean we only know us for a day" Garnet grinned. "Of course I would! I mean you are my friend right?" Pearl asked shyly smiling.

"Yeah we are. But Pearl, you really don't have to do this for me" Garnet said. "Garnet please, no buts. Anything for a friend" Pearl smiled more. "Alright love" Garnet snickered.
Pearl blushed and looked at Garnet. Why did she feel the way she felt?
It would never work out between these two. They were so different in many ways... Pearl sighted and looked at her phone. "Do you want to run?" Pearl asked Garnet. "Definitely! Just lead the way" Garnet said as she looked at the rain.

They arrived soaking wet at Pearls home. 'Wohoo! So much about the two blocks away from the cafe, didn't help at all' Pearl thought to herself  "Well that's my home" she said, opening the doors. "Mom, I'm home!" She shouted. Garnet noticed a pretty woman kissing Pearls forhead. "Hey sweetie, how was your day? Oh and who is this good looking woman?" The tall woman asked. "This is Garnet! We met today" Pearl said smiling.
"Nice to meet you Garnet! I'm Opal"

"Hey" Garnet said smiling. Pearl looked at her and then her mom. "I'm going upstairs with Garnet okay?" She asked Opal. "Mhm sure, does she sleep here today?" She asked Pearl. "Y - yeah, I guess" Pearl said slowly, yet asking Garnet. "Sounds good to me" Garnet said with a soft smile. "Perfect" Opal said happily. "But don't do intense stuff up there. Kissing is fine!" Opal added grinning. "Mom!" Pearl shrieked embarrassed while Garnet just laughed.

Pearl walked still embarassed upstairs and Garnet followed her. Before Garnet could take a step on the staircase, Opal laid a hand on Garnets shoulder. "Thank you for being her friend. She had trouble making new friends since that accident... I think she'll tell you soon. But anyways, you really mean something to her. Just promise me you'll protect her" Opal said as she sighted. "I promise" Garnet said slowly but smiled a bit.

Garnet walked into the room Pearl vanished. "I hope these clothes fit. You really need to take off these wet clothes" Pearl said concentrated as she looked trough her wardrobe. "I think they'll fit well. You need to get something warm too, you're freezing" Garnet said as she took Pearls cold hands. Pearl smiled and looked at Garnets hands. "Yours are pretty warm" she said still looking at her hands.

Garnet smirked. Her shades reflected in the light. Pearl was curious about Garnets eye color since she really never saw them before. Pearl turned around, with the back to Garnet, and changed her shirt. Garnet did the same, but she was in front of a mirror and saw literally everything from Pearl.

"Garnet, don't mind me asking but why are you always wearing your shades? I mean the suit you, but... you know what I mean right?" Pearl asked shyly into the room. Garnet sighted "my eyes are just not worth being seen from anyone" she said. "Can you... can you show me your eyes?" Pearl asked slowly. "Yeah, but don't laugh or anything about them. They're just not as pretty as yours" Garnet said as she finished getting the new clothes on. "I promise I won't laugh" Pearl said as she waited for Garnet to open her eyes.

As Garnet did, two beautiful brown eyes looked at Pearl. "Wow..." Pearl said, speechless. "I know they aren't-" Garnet started but got distracted by Pearl putting her hand over Garnets. "They are absolutely beautiful" Pearl said, still looking at them. "I really don't think so" Garnet said. "I swear they are. Please believe me with this" Pearl said.

"Fine... but thank you Pearl, nobody really told me that before" Garnet said after a little pause. "You don't have to thank me Garnet! I really enjoy making you compliments to see your smil-" Pearl looked shocked "Did.. did I just say that out loud?" She asked Garnet. Garnet snickered and nodded. "But it's fine! I like to see your smile too love" Garnet said smiling. Pearl blushed but smiled back. "Do you want something to eat?" Pearl asked.
"yeah sure!"

Writing this took me literally 4 hours. I had no idea what to write honestly. But anyways, I'll do the last part of "I think I love you" tomorrow. Like for real I'll do it tomorrow. I just really wanted to finish this part and all that jazz. Anyways I hope you like it, and thanks for reading!
