Rachel's POV

Poor Fizzy.

She doesn't even know what's going on and now Louis has to tell her. She doesn't remember what happened yesterday. I guess she lost a lot lf blood.

Louis was now pale and his mouth was open, but no sound was coming out. I felt bad for him, so I stepped up.

"He saved your life Fizzy. A guy was trying to hurt you and your brother saved you. You're in the hospital because he used a knife." I said confidently.

Louis was shocked and Fizzy's eyes were wide. They showed fear and pain, also a little bit of love. She had tears in them and Louis went to hug her. They were like this for a while until a doctor cleared his throat awkwardly. He came next to Fizzy and asked her to do some warmups, nothing much. He then asked me and Louis to leave the room. Louis glared at him and I put my hand on his shoulder for reassurance.

We stepped out of the room and Louis was breathing heavily. I hope he won't lose it right now. We're in public and he would go back to prison. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him out back. We were alone in the ally way and I wanted to smack him.

"Louis! You seriously need to control your temper! He just asked you to leave the room, that's it. He won't hurt Fizzy and he won't hurt your mom. He's a professional and-"

"DOES IT MATTER? I'm the one who caused her to be in there! I'm a monster! I killed a man and got sent to prison. People will now see me on the streets and hate on me."

"Louis. Listen to me. You're overreacting. She will be fine. Just calm down." I tried to reason with him, but he just got worse.

"Why would I listen to you anyways? You were in prison with me! Heck, I don't even know how old you are!" He yelled at me. My anger was rising.

"I'M 17 OKAY?! Why do you think I asked how old she was? It was because you were the only person who actually cared about me. My mom died when I was born and my dad was a drunkie. My aunt and uncle took me in and recently past a couple of weeks ago. I've been dealing with grief and my friends seemed to ignore me more and more. You're really the only person who has been there for me in a while." I hadn't even noticed I was crying.

"Rachel, please don't cry." He pulled me in for a hug. I was surprised at first, then I immediately hugged him back.

He felt safe an cuddly. He smelt good, too.

"Thanks, love." He chuckled. Did I just say that outloud?

"Yes, yes you did." He laughed and pulled away from the hug. I laughed with him and we walked back inside. He seemed more calmer than before.

We were waiting in the waiting room, again, for his name to be called. His mum, I think her name was Jay, came out with tear stains on her cheeks. She put on a fake smile and quickly wiped away hear cheeks, hoping no one noticed her. I felt bad for her because Louis didn't seem to notice. I frowned and Jay came to hug Louis. She told him everything was going to be fine and that Fizzy would be out soon.

I didn't believe her one bit. I could hear her lying through her voice. I don't know how, but I could tell. Her voice was a little higher than usual.

"C'mon you two, lets go home. Rachel, you can come stay with us if you want?" Jay asked me. She's such a generous and kind woman, I feel so bad for her. Her daughter is in the hospital on the verge of passing.

"Are you sure? I hope I won't cause any trouble." I chuckled and she nodded with Louis. He seemed pretty excited about the idea.

We got into the car and drove off. Here comes another ride of silence.

Once we got there, we got out of the car and went to the front door. Her porch was enlightened with a lantern hanging above the door. The grass was neatly cut and still fresh with dew from the earlier storm today.

Louis gestured for me to follow him and I did. He kept the door held open and I stepped in. What a gentleman.

"Thanks." Louis whispered.

"I really have to stop thinking out loud, huh?" I laughed. He chuckled and lead me upstairs to a room.

The doors down the hallway each had names.

Daisy and Pheobe..

Lottie..

Louis..

And Fizzy..

Fizzy kept rushing through my mind. I shook the thought about a world without her would be like. Louis was down the hall, opening a door to a guest bedroom. I ran to catch up to him and walked inside.

The room was beautiful. It had a full sized bathroom, with a shower AND tub, two sinks, and double mirrors with cabinets. The bedroom was about the size of the hospital waiting room. It had a queen sized bed, a white comforter with matching pillows, like the ones you would see at hotels. There was a walk on closet with a dresser inside it. The window had a view over Doncaster.

I was ecstatic. Louis grinned at my reaction and I hugged him. He returned the favor and told me we were going out tomorrow.

"Go to bed, love, it's getting late." He whispered to me. I nodded and climbed into the bed. I didn't care if I was wearing jeans and a tanktop, I was comfy. He flicked off the night and whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"Good night, Rach."

"Good night, Lou."

And with that, I fell into a dreamless state.
