You watched as Bertholdt loaded the back of the carriage with wooden crates and sacks. Nearby, Annie and Ymir were conversing about the best route to their destination. You could feel Reiner's eyes on you as he readied the horses. It wasn't exactly uncomfortable, but it didn't feel right, it felt..possessive. You shook those thoughts from your head as you stood.

"If we leave now, we can make it there by midnight tonight," Ymir said as she folded up an old, worn map and stuffed it into a holster on her hip.

You massaged the healing part of your leg. You found it odd that it was healing at such a fast rate, but paid it no mind as you boarded the back of the carriage. You weren't scared anymore, in fact, you were just tired. Nothing could really surprise you anymore.
"(Y/N), when we get to where we're going you're going to be staying there, we have a companion that's going to look after  you," Krista explained as you settled in one corner of the  carriage.
You nodded blankly and held yourself close. The unusual chilliness was returning. Your mind wondered to Jean. You wondered if anyone noticed you were missing yet. Were they even looking for you? That thought made you feel a little lonely. You missed everyone and your safety, but especially you missed the way things used to be. Finally, everyone was ready to depart. As the journey began you wondered if you would live another day.

"When were they last seen," Erwin asked Jean as the shaken teen rubbed his arm.
"I saw (Y/N) earlier that day, sir," Jean replied, his voice cracking just a little.
Levi listened to the interrogation with a certain amount of interest. He had been suspecting of Reiner's little group for a good while and now his suspicions were being confirmed.  He looked over at Armin who was racking his brain for any explanation as to why they would kidnap (Y/N).
"I knew the enemy was among us, dealing with them will be hell," Levi muttered to himself as Jean rambled on about where you could be.

Another night in an abandoned house...just what you wanted. You sat on the edge of another rotting bed, your mind blank and dull. Downstairs you could hear Bertholdt and Ymir discussing something about a Coordinate, but you paid it no mind as you sipped water from your canteen. It tasted funny, but you ignored that too. Suddenly you heard heavy footfalls coming down the hall. The door creaked open revealing your bulky ex now clad in only his signature green shirt and the white jeans and boots of the military.
"You know the drill, (Y/N)," he said as he dragged a chair across the room and sat down facing you.
"Do you really have to watch me sleep," you asked, sounding annoyed.
" Just making sure you don't run off," he replied as he leaned back in the chair.
You rolled your eyes and laid down, pulling the covers over your head. This wasn't working for you. You just wanted to go home, but that seemed like a distant memory.
Soon you drifted off into another dreamless sleep, wrapped in  restlessness.
