[Chapter 4]
(Kacey)
"I'm not going to do it." I said for the umpteenth time?"
We are recently sitting in or usual table with Ariana scheming me into talking to Storm.
"Come on, it's the first time that his brothers aren't sitting with him." I looked back towards the table he was sitting at and he was indeed sitting by himself. "You can go profess your undying love to him."
I shook my head. "I don't have a crush on him anymore." I mumbled, going back to eating my onion rings. "It's been a over year, since I've seen him, my feelings have died?" I told her, the statement coming out more like a question than a definite answer.
"That's a lie!" Ariana shouted, standing up and pounding her hand on the table. She sat back down as everyone became quiet and stared at her. "What!" She yelled to them. "Go back to eating. Nothing interesting here!"
I grabbing her arm and yanked he back to her seat. "Sit you ass down." I mumbled.
I looked to Storm table to see he was the only one not looking towards Ariana random outburst. He was just sitting alone playing around with his food. He usually does just that with his two brothers, but they are no where to be seen.
"What you yelling about now Ariana?" Mimi asked, joining the table.
She pulled out a bag of Burger King and laid it on the table. "Did you bring me some?" Ariana questioned, looking lonely at the whopper on the table.
Mimi snorted. "I said once a month honey. Not once a week." Mimi purposefully
taking a slow, long bite into the juicy burger to make Ariana jealous."I hope you choke on that burger, you bitch." Ariana jibed, with a large frown on her face.
"Woof woof." She barked, playfully. "So what was your uproar about?"
Arians scoffed. "I'm not telling your greedy ass nothing." She said stubbornly, her arms wrapped around her body.
Mimi rolled her eyes and threw her a couple fries from the paper bag.
She greedily shoved them in her mouth and informed Mimi about our current conversation.
"I know what will get her to talk to him." Mimi smirked with a mischievous glare lighting up in her brown eyes.
"How?" Ariana asked interested.
"Dare season has arrived." She said simply. "I dare you to get a date with Storm for your one year crush-iversary using pickup lines."
Mimi knew I was a dare devil that will never turn down a dare, don't matter how ridiculous or dangerous it is. That's how I got six detentions in a day.
The sound of the word dare just perks of my day, but not this one.
Every year, the first month of school there's a score board of people involved with dares, and last year I one.
I snorted. "Are you joking. I can't do that" I protested quiet loudly, simpering as people in the cafeteria glared at me.
I guess they're angry that we keep randomly yelling.
