Where all my demons hide
In my closet
With my memories
Good and bad
Only opening that door when you
Need something to remind you
That you were happy once
That it's not all a myth
Reminding you that for once
Your smile can be real
For once you can let your guard down
And live in the present and embrace your past
Trying to remember the person you used to be
The person who's different than now
But this person now is stronger
Unbreakable even
Only hurt by few
Others just merely sting
