a fairy tale romance

the meeting

As usual I was late for my office and was in a hurry. I was always in a habit to hear my boss shout at me so it hardly affected me anymore.

"Hi Emily boss is not in a good mood. I don't get a good vibe " said Sharon she is my best friend. She is absolutely beautiful anyone would madly want her. She has a good heart to." I know. He is always like this I will go and see what's with him this time" I replied

My office is really huge with many departments and I work in the marketing one. Everyone here are not good they find back hitting and bitching about others fun well I can say they are not at all my type. I don't get along with them. Even I am a introvert and a really shy person with really low self-esteem.

I reached  my boss office and he was sitting with mouth full of frustration. I never saw him laugh. My boss Paul gave me a perspective that all the business man of this world are just like him frustrated looking for profit even in trash.

"You need me boss" well I was rewinding the sentence in my mind but I got a reply " I don't need you , you need me "that too in a very arrogant way " as you know the CEO of our company Mr Morgan will be here by next week so we need to have everything set for him in Case if he likes to operate his main business from here it will give benefit to us. "

Well I am atleast Happy for now that I got a break from this place. For this weekend I can be a free bird so I have decided to spend this weekend in Georgia. I will catch my train tomorrow morning. Well it was no doubt way to expensive for me but I managed it some how as you never know what life has planned for you.

Next morning I reached Georgia. It was beautiful there. I knew this weekend would be special for me well it was special but in a different way.

Sunday morning I woke up at my alarm clock excited for my day. I went some garden nearby to make my plans for the day. I had my return train at 4pm Sharp so had to reach the station before time.

While making my plans my eyes went to someone a man he was teasing some college girls. I don't know how but whenever I see something like this I just can't control myself. I ran into that man and hit him with all I had. He fell down on the floor. Then I saw a troops of his men coming towards me and I knew I had to run so without thinking I just started running. God knows why do I always end up in such situations.

I am running for about 15min and could sense that they are still following me so I decided to take some help. It is a long road and no hope of life can be seen its like I am on some other planet. Now only an angel can save me. And my angel is standing right in front of me.

A boy of about 23 is standing with his phone. Well he looks like playful boy but their is something strange about him which I could feel just by looking at him. His looks were like that of a college boy but his posture and personality was very strong and attractive.

Since he was the only one I could come across so I decided to talk to him and ask for his help. I went to him "no" he said. I was confused. "But I didn't even say anything." I said in my justification. "I know what you want. You want me to give you lift to someplace. As you have some kind of emergency .then on the way you will try to do all those things which are like second job of girls." What the hell was he saying. "Excuse me I am really in some problem and need help. " I replied "we'll that's the statement every single girl gives" what I just felt like kicking him. " no some goons are following me . it was my mistake but I just need a ride till the station. "
 
He gave me a I know look and sat inside his car and went ahead. I tried to stop him but he just did not. Without thinking much I decided to run again but of no use. They all were standing right in front of me.

My heart felt so heavy. I had no option but to give up. They all were coming close to me step by step. Suddenly a car rushed towards us and stopped by. It was the same weird boy who refused to gave me lift. He opened the door of the front seat and signaled me hop in. Without wasting time I followed his advice and we actually escaped those goon's.

I looked at him with a lot of questions in my mind. And he gave me a he know look which was suiting him.

"Can I trust you I hope you not a stalker" he said playfully. "No but the same question goes for you too. How am I supposed to know that you are not a stalker behind this cute face."
"So you think I am cute have you got a crush on me" what I just asked him for lift and he is already hitting on me. But I was to tired to reply so I let it go.

I was tired so I slept for a while. I woke up after sometime to actually realize that I have been sleeping for more than 3 hours it is already 3 15 evening and if we did not hurry I am going to miss my train. I asked that strange man who was staring at me every now and then to make it quick or it will be to late. So he raised his speed and we reached station on time. " hope you have a great journey and we meet soon. "
"Never" I said proudly.

I stood outside his car and waved him . somehow how I can feel like a family with him like I know him for ages. But the irony is that we don't know each other's names either.

I went inside then a sudden realization hit me. I forgot my phone in his car . it had really important details like my contact my office work files. It even had the work process to be done for the arrival of Mr Morgan. My boss would have killed me. Then I saw my train coming even the ticket was in phone. I had no option but to retrieve. Oh god why am I always so clumsy.

I went out and borrowed someone phone and called on my own. "I am sorry the girl whose phone is this is not here and I don't think I will see her again so don't drop any message." He hanged the call without even listening. What a Nieves he is. I called again " hey don't get any ideas it's me."."me who me". Okay so now he was playing with me."Hazel Grace Lancaster ". I know I am smart. Okay miss Hazel what do you want from Augustus Waters". "I just need my phone where are you." "Sorry but I am not near by. It would take me about an hour to reach there." Okay make it quick I am waiting ".

Its about half an hour where the hell is he. My train is just about to leave.
He then just appear. " where is my phone. " "here you go. " he gave my phone. "Well it was very nice meeting you. I guess you should be running." What a sudden question appeared in my mind. The moment I got what he wanted to say I turned back and saw my train leaving.

Wait, I started running but to no avail my train left. My day just could not get any better. I saw that boy standing next to me. "Let's go". Go but where. He again gave me a he know look." I drive you home". " are you kidding me. How can you drive me from Georgia to my working place. "
"This is the road and I have a car". He smiled at me. And you don't have many options.". Well he was right. So I did not think much about it and sat in his car.

So much has happened today. God knows what life has written for me. Well this is my journey. Emily against the world.
