I was enjoying this new taste of happiness in my life. This happiness was only because of Emily . I have never felt such things with anyone. I don't know her quite well but whatever I know about her it is enough for me. I feel satisfied around her. I like when she makes faces or try to be playful.
Its been a week since we have become friends. But she is different from others she wanted to hide this from her colleague as she don't like to much unwanted attention I respect her decision . actually I love her decision because I can at least say that our friendship is not just a showoff for her. She is amazing.
Every one in the office is quite busy with the preparation of the party this weekend. It our company's 21st anniversary. All the employee and our investors partners are invited. I don't know how but can tell just by looking at Emily face that she not into party's. Well I am I love meet my friends colleagues its a kind of get together.
But the best part of this get together is that I am single and I have a true friend

Emily POV

"Jayden why don't you say something. At least look at me. I am asking you something. Okay fine I will go spend your afternoon with your new friend".
At this I saw him lifting his eye
" okay I am sorry what were you saying . wait who is this new friend of mine other than you."
"Your laptop. if you are busy I will leave you" I started walking.
"No wait I am sorry I will give you more attention" I looked at him and gave him a broad smile. "Its okay I am not your girlfriend. You don't have to give me explanation for anything" I could see refreshing smile on his face which made him look even more smart. If I didn't knew I was not his type I would have surly made him my boyfriend.

As I reached my home I was warmly welcomed by my friend lily who was eagerly waiting for me . I knew something was fishy in the whole scene. Before she could say anything I directly confronted her"what do you what"
"No nothing"
"See I know you to well, tell me what is it"
"Okay what will you wear for tomorrow night"
"Why are we going somewhere. Its not even your birthday"
"No I mean for your office party"
"I have not yet decided and on the top of that I am not in the mood to go there".
" who is not going where ". This one was coming from Sharon. I didn't knew she was here.
" don't tell me Emily you are not coming. What would he do without you".
"Who he. "
"Come on you know your secret crush I mean friend".
" stop there its nothing like that we are just friends normal friends ".
" okay so you come for him , you know in a friendly way. Or he will miss you there "
"He will". I can't believe these words came out of my mouth.
" ya sure he will just like a friend you know ". Both of them started laughing.
Well I had to agree to go because there was no way I could beat these two in such a fight. So without thinking much I went to sleep.

Jayden POV
It was party time in the office every one was busy getting along with each other some were dancing some were heading towards the bar counter. I could see many of my business partner and some of my old friends from school they all were greeting me and were around me but I was looking for someone in the middle of this crowd Emily. Where was she.
Then I saw Sharon coming along with someone I could not keep my curiosity so I went up to her to know about Emily.
" hey Sharon, enjoying the party "
"Ya we are but I guess their is something bothering you. May be you are looking for someone"
"So is she coming" I was blushing at her thought what was happening with me.
"I don't know. She was not in mood so I guess "
"Its okay" I just turned to walk. But suddenly someone fell on me and I just could not keep my balance so we both fall down.
"Can't you see. " as soon as I said this I saw it was none other than Emily she was lying on my top with a sorry face which was making her look so cute.

"I am so sorry are you okay".
" I guess but I don't think for long if you didn't get off me"
"O ya I am sorry" she stood up followed by me I took a look at her she was looking so different she had a very pretty blue dress on with pink collar. She had very little make up on but she was looking different may be because she let her brown hair down .
"Your are so clumsy. Why did you wear heels if you just could not walk in them".before I could finish my sentence she held her heels in her hand .
" what are doing this a party "
"Ya I know but I guess party is for fun and I came here to enjoy. Actually I wanted to wear my comfortable shorts. But Sharon forced me to wear this. But it's okay. What's wrong with you . girls who don't put there shoes on are not allowed in."
I laughed at her she was so different so clumsy yet so adorable. I was busy thinking about her that I didn't even realize when she went inside and sat at the bar counter with her heels in her hand.
I wanted to talk to her but I had to greet our investors so I went towards them.
"Hye old buddy how are you. Every thing cool"that was one of mine old friend Max. He was play boy.
" ya everything is at its pace" I said at this my head turned towards Emily who was still sitting at the counter.
"Looks like you have found someone". Max asked
" no we are just friends "
"Really you mean she is free " I knew this looks on his face I had to stop him Emily was not a girl for him she was so innocent.
"No actually she not your type"
"Don't worry boy I will change my type" and he went towards the counter. I had to run behind him there was no way I would let her be With such a guy.

"Hi gorgeous looks like you need some company " max said.
"No i am fine "
"Emily ,Sharon and others were looking for you there. I think you should go." I quickly added before max could say anything.
Emily went to look for Sharon
"So her name is Emily" even her name taken from her mouth made me irritated.
"See you soon" max Left saying these words.

I asked for a drink . as I turned around to walk I saw Emily was just about to kiss Max.
