I never thought about how she really felt deep inside. I knew something was wrong when she seemed happy while telling me she died. It seems like in all honesty she didn't want to die in the first place. Then again, maybe she did. She doesn't have any of her memories except a handful that aren't very helpful to find what she's looking for. I look down to my food and I think hard about my answer. I took a deep breath and before I could answer, Clair spoke, "Y-you don't have to if you don't want to, I only asked because...you seem like the only person who can help me. I know it's a lot and we only met not long ago, but i'm asking this from the bottom of my heart, please help me."

My eyes widened. My heart skipped a beat. I was actually needed, I was needed to help someone. She had activated my hero instincts deep inside....but maybe it's more than that...

I smile happily and I look to her, "I'll help you...I will get your memories back and catch the person who murdered you...". Seeing Clair smile like that, I knew it wasn't a fake smile. I then began to eat my food.

The bell rang sometime later to signify the next classes to start. I head to class with Clair close behind. I look at the ground as I walk and I began to get lost in my thoughts. I think about where to start, what clues I already have, and where I should I go from where I am now. In my head its as if i'm in a dark room with a single light hovering above a table in front of me and scattered puzzle pieces are all over. I reach out to grab one. I suddenly get interrupted by bumping into someone and I fall back in surprise. I rub the back of my head and I look up at who I bumped into.

A girl who was wearing a black dress stood before me

A girl who was wearing a black dress stood before me. She had black nail polish, black hair, black eyes, black boots. Needless to say she was probably one for Gothic apparel. She looks at me in slight surprise and she offers me a hand up, "Sorry about that, I didn't see where I was going. I was kind of getting lost in my own thoughts".

"Dont worry about it", I replied, "I was actually doing the same thing so it's also partially my fault". I smiled and laughed a bit awkwardly. I examine her a bit more and I find her to be more cute than I originally made her out to be. The girl nods and says, "My name is Nadia. Nadia Mcvaren". I smile, "That's a nice name, mine is Aiden. Aiden Macin". Nadia smiles back at me, "You also have a nice name".

All of a sudden Clair steps between us and gives me a weird look as she smiles, "Someone has a crush~". I blush a bit and look away to try to hide it and Nadia tilts her head at me, "Is something the matter?". I shake my head a lot and I look back to Nadia through Clair and I say, "N-no! nothings wrong! I have to get to class now! I'll see you later Nadia!". After that I walk past her and move quickly with Clair following close behind.

I slam my head into my desk and sigh deeply into it with Clair laughing beside me. I turn to her and I look more embarrassed, "Why did you have to say something like that! we were only having a little talk!".

Clair takes a breath and looks to me, "You're the one giving off this great reaction!".

"Well don't do that next time! I was only thinking that she was cute and all and that she was pretty attractive, the thought about going out with her didn't even cross my mind!"

"Denial.com", Clair says leaning back putting her hands behind her head. Then a thought suddenly hit me. I've been openly talking to Clair but no one has said anything. I take a look around the class and I see the room is empty. Class has been started for a few minutes now and no one has showed up. I look around some more and I see a Black butterfly on the windowsill as it was when I first saw it.

"Sorry to interrupt your class but it seems like it hasn't happened yet

"Sorry to interrupt your class but it seems like it hasn't happened yet...Well time for me to teach you myself", a Man wearing all black standing in the front of the class said as a black butterfly landed on his shoulder. I stand up quickly and my eyes widened as he said, "Now now, take your seat..."

                                                            "Class is in session...."
