Chapter 2: To The Rescue

A small 50 kilometers away from the Diamond Mountains, Sinero, Sylvan and Terra were setting up camp due to the dusk arriving. Sinero was busy making the campfire as Sylvan was setting up the tents. Terra was looking at both the Mercenaries in awe how they were setting up camp without communication and trouble, they threw stuff at each other and caught it without looking. She softly said: "So easy.... Simple.... Smooth...." They both got up, turned around to face Terra and both said: "Excuse you?" Terra looked scared and taken aback by this so nervously she said: "N-nothing....." Taking a step backwards with her hands raised as she said it. Sylvan said on a relaxing tone: "Don't worry due to our.... Enhancements we can hear everything better than everyone else and your brother and his army didn't like us cause of it" Terra looked at them both and noticed that Sylvan's right arm and Sinero's left arm were covered. She opened her mouth to ask them about it but closed it but Sinero, who was standing with his back towards her said: "Go ahead, ask it" She seemed taken aback by it but asked what was underneath the cloaks. Sinero and Sylvan laughed, Sylvan asked her if she had a week to hear it all but then got serious "You heard stories about the epic battle between the four heroes of Light and The Dark Lord right?" Terra looked at Sylvan with her eyebrow raised and said: "Well yeah but that happened 20 years ago, surely you two are older than that are you?" Sinero looked down and back up quickly "If only we could say yes to that but no, we are exactly 20 years old. When The Darkness got it's share of ground and our parents were fleeing from The Darkness they accidentally left us in the chaos. Every human, animal and greens got corrupted. Humans became monsters, animals even worse and the greens became living death traps. Everything The Darkness touched was altered in some way. Lucky for us that we were only on the border of it so we're only half corrupted, we got one wolf arm, left for me and right for my brother. Not only that but all our senses and strength are above average." Sylvan laughed after Sinero was finished and said "Goddamn it we need to shorten the story a whole lot more, I am starving because of your story time!" Sinero shrugged and replied: "No falling asleep this time like usual?" They laughed as Terra stood there confused by their humor and said: "How can you two be so cheerful with all... That?" Sinero simply said: "Not giving two scheits about it" Sylvan shrugged: "It's just that simple really" They had finished setting up camp in the meantime with no problem at all and made a campfire to cook the bear meat from the other day. Terra looked at their weapons, studied them and asked: "But how did you create these two?" Sylvan replied: "Well, you'd be surprised how much money can do." Sinero laughed softly at what Sylvan said. "But how did you get the money if you don't work or anything that pays something?" Sinero took the wheel on this one "Well... If we had a coin for every bounty hunter or some lunatic from any kind of army tried to kill us, we'd be as rich as the King and Queen themselves" Sylvan laughed as Terra looked highly confused, unsure whether or not she'd ask how many they had killed. They ate and prepared to rest for the night

The next morning they were heading to a special place for people who were hunted by the Red Army like Half Demons, people who can create doubles of themselves and more. The party of three arrived at the gate and they were halted by two female guards, one had yellow hair, greenish eyes, wore a blue and orange outfit, white shoes and earrings; the other, who also had yellow hair and greenish eyes, wore a small, sleeveless jacket, white pants and black shoes. "Well well well, if that ain't the Sky mercs, why did you bring a piece of Red filth with you?" The woman in blue and orange asked; Sylvan replied casually: "She is a friend Lilliana, she turned against the army and helped us" The other guard Cecilia, who was loads and loads more serious than Lilliana, said: "She is still as red as all that blood... Of everyone she killed!" Lilliana started chuckling and said in a fun mood "As red as a bleeding anus" Sin and Sly both said in unison: "Ah nasty!" Cecilia sighed "Did you honestly expect anything else from her?" Sin looked at Cecilia and replied: "No... No we didn't but our new companion however, she probably did" Terra had an awkward look on her face and nodded slowly. Cecilia and Lilliana stepped back, opened the gate and said in unison: "Welcome to Not Your Average Home or NYAH for short" Sin and Sly rolled their eyes and Terra said in confusion: "Wait... This town is seriously called NYAH?!!!" Cecilia, Lilliana, Sin and Sly all nodded as Terra continued: "Who founded this town?" Sylvan told the story of the first mutated people who found this place and noticed that The Red Army or anyone else was unable to track them so they decided to build houses here "And voila, that is the start of NYAH" As the three of them continued their way into NYAH.
Sin, Sly and Skippy stopped at the blacksmith to get some new equipment. The blacksmith came to the front and asked them what they wanted, Sinero wanted armor for his left arm and Sylvan wanted a glove for his right arm. They payed and were told to wait several hours so they roamed around and ate something. After three and a half hours the smith was done and the Sky brothers got their new equipment.
