Chapter 3: Full Force!

Agatha was waiting in front of the Sky residence. When she got tired of standing she conjured up a chair as she giggled a little "One of the perks of being a witch" as she waited for the upcoming 5 minutes

6:00am
The door opened as Sinero appeared in the doorway and spotted Agatha "How long have you been waiting?" The question Sinero asked made Agatha chuckle as she replied: "About five minutes give or take" Sinero walked through the doorway as Terra and Sylvan (who's hair was still a mess) followed. They were all prepped and set for the upcoming hunt but just as they were about to walk through the gate two women stood in their way, one with a red coat, two pistols, a sword and one hell of an attitude and the other lady wore a blue coat and just had a katana, both of them had white hair and half demons. Sinero and Sylvan stood across from them, looking them dead in the eyes. "You weren't going to leave without first honoring our fun little tradition were you?" The woman in the red coat stood across from Sinero, her name is Raine, the other woman with the blue coat was named Sarahvinus who stood across Sylvan. Sinero, who didn't break eye contact with Raine, told Terra and Agatha to step back and not interfere. Sinero and Sylvan as well as Raine and Sarahvinus had their hands on their weapons, a second later Raine and Sylvan were firing at each other and Sinero and Sarahvinus were in a smashing deadlock, every hit either one of the two made was met with the other one's blade. The four stopped, stepped back, simultaneously smiled and the Sparda Sisters yelled in unison: "Full Power!!!!" while the Sky Mercenaries yelled: "This is the true power of the Sky family!!" A more werewolf version of the Sky Mercenaries and the demon versions of the Sparda Sisters stood there, ready to duke it out but instead of moving, they just stood there but they moved to fast for the eye to register as shockwaves were being felt all over the place. The battle took just three minutes but they seemed to have a damned lot of fun because when they ended, they just laughed, hugged each other and parted ways. Terra and Agatha were looking at the brothers with one question which they asked in unison: "Who were they?!" Sylvan answered: "They were Raine and Sarahvinus who are most commonly known as the Sparda Sisters, our friends and rivals. We sometimes help them and they help us" They reverted back to their human form while Sly was talking "Let's get going shall we?" The brothers started walking while Terra and Agatha were looking at them like they got really confused (which they were) but followed soon after. When they were both caught up, Terra made a comment that they were walking really fast and asked: "Where are we going?" Sinero took the paper with the assignment and abruptly stopped, causing Agatha to bump into Sinero. Agatha looked at Sinero "What the hell??!!" Sinero showed it to Sylvan, who, just like Sinero, got a concerned look on his face which made Terra ask what was going on "We need to assassinate someone in the Sacred Earth province... Which means..." Sylvan stated as Sinero finished his sentence "That their is a high chance that we are hired to kill the king..." Terra looked at them both "But that is the heart of The Red Army!" She said with panic in her eyes and voice. While Sin, Sly and Skippy were thinking of a way to get to the king to tell him he was in danger, Agatha got a plan "Why not use my magic to teleport there?" Sinero liked that plan but saw one problem "The castle itself is protected, we can only go as far as the big bridge that leads towards it and that is protected by the elite royal guard, led by the legendary Fytar Fygro and his companions" Agatha raised an eyebrow at that statement and asked: "Why did you put the legendary in that sentence?" Terra answered: "Mister Fygro and his companions were the ones who defeated Inferno 20 years ago, even though they can't do it anymore, they still serve as the king's royal guard" Sinero and Sylvan looked at each other and shrugged which made Terra turn to them "What are you two shrugging about?!" Sin answered her with an serious as possible face "We're just... A little confidant that we'd beat them, just a little~" The stretch that Sin put in the word little made Sly laugh like crazy which in turn made Sin laugh along him like a pair of children who heard a dirty word. As they were fell over from laughing way too hard, Terra and Agatha dragged them along so they'd at least get to the next town before sunset.

A little while past as the two brothers finally stopped laughing and Terra had to change her clothes because she would be instantly recognized by everyone in her Red Army armor. She ditched the armor and made a "fresh start" in terms of fashion. She bought new ones, in her favorite color: purple. Luckily that was the only color that wasn't tainted by anything bad yet. They took a break from the traveling and rested well, ate a lot and had the occasional brotherly dispute which always ended with them both being punched in the face by the two ladies. After everything that had happened that day and the past week in general called for some reflection with everyone in the group. They shared laughter, they shared tears but they also shared their wishes, both current and lost ones. "I hope we can finally live a normal life after all this... I am quite sick of running around like a chicken without a head because someone hates our asses" Sylvan said as his brother nodded in agreement "However" he continued "Should this trip end the wrong way and I die then let it be in battle... With a weapon in my hand and laughter in my heart..." Sinero looked at Sylvan and shook his head "Don't say stuff like that, I mean yeah we're not invincible but we are pretty hard to kill and besides, they think we are strong now, wait till they see our fused form" Agatha jumped into the conversation she actually had been ignoring for a little "Wait, you two can fuse together?!" Sylvan nodded "We can become the strongest and most keen eyed fighter you will ever meet or the most destructive monster that ever lived but that depends on the form we're in when we fuse" Terra got really interested upon hearing that "How does the fusion even work" Sinero explained it as best as possible: "Well first you need to be related in some other way, equally as strong and healthy but most importantly: like minded in terms of same thought pattern" Sylvan gave an example of when Terra had just joined that he and Sinero were setting up camp without saying a word to each other but somehow they knew what was going on and what the other was doing "So you have something like a rare psychic connection?" Agatha asked them "Well yeah, it's not like we say that everywhere we go but yeah, that is the reason we are a great duo, my brother and I, we know what is going to happen or what's behind us before the other one can see it." Sylvan said but then Terra had another question: "Are you like... The only ones who have that connection? Or are there more?" Sinero looked up, thinking of the names but soon he already had two "Well Raine and Sarahvinus also have that connection, basically nine out of the ten twins you'll meet in NYAH or across the world will probably have that connection. However, if twins are separated for too long the connection may not be able to form." The brothers both stood up, stretched and yawned "Well, that was enough story time and sadness for now, let's go get our rest." The brothers walked to their room as Agatha and Terra also went to their rooms. The night passed without trouble as the next morning arrived and the team gathered. Sinero and Sylvan were fully prepared and ready while Agatha and Terra are still doing their hair and weapon check "So we still have to pass several towns and possible bad guys" Terra looked at Sinero, who said it and asked: "Possible bad guys?" Sinero nodded "Like the lonely hero who has a monster sealed within him, tons of monsters and bandits" Agatha now came out the room but heard the part what Sinero just said "I heard the lonely hero has moments where he disappears and the monster takes place, burning cities and villages wherever he goes. His name is unknown to everyone but everyone does know, if you kill either the monster or the hero, they both die..." Sinero looked at Agatha "So it's a shared fate huh? Sounds awful in his case" Agatha nodded "That's why he usually hides in places where there's no city or town within a hundred miles. His tale has been told for ages, some even say he was the first "mutant" or however they want to call it." The other three were listening with attention to everything Agatha said while easily but slowly killing the distance between them and the castle.
