Lorelai sat in DADA classroom. The new professor Moody is here. He was a strange man. "Today we'll learn about Unforgivable Curses. The Ministry thinks you are too young. I say different. Weasley!" Ron stood up and Lorelai smiled at him reassuringly. "Give me a curse." Ron looked nervous. "My father told me about one. The Imperius Curse." Moody nodded. "Yes. Your father would know about that one. Give a lot of problems to the Ministry last year." He pulled out his wand and point it at a spider. "Imperio!" The spider did everything that Moody ordered him. Lorelai was the only one looking frightened. Moody looked at Neville. "You! Longbottom! Give me a Curse." Neville straightened. "The Cruciatus Curse." Moody nodded, impressed. "Great! Step up, boy." Moody pointed his wand at spider again. "Crucio!" Everyone watched silently as spider squealed. Neville looked away from spider. Lorelai stood up. "Stop it! Can't you see it's hurting him!" Moody stopped the Curse. He put spider on Lorelai's and Hermione's table. "Ms Granger, maybe you can tell me the last Curse." Lorelai's eyes watered and she shook her head. "Avada Kedavra!" Lorelai stood up and run out of classroom. She run into girls bathroom and started crying. Then she heard the door open. She thought it was Hermione until she heard concerned voice. "Lorelai, are you okay?" She turned around and saw Malfoy. There was worry in his grey eyes. Lorelai run towards him and he hugged her. Lorelai buried her head in his chest. "Ssh, Rory. It's okay." Lorelai pulled away and looked up at him. "He was hurting him. Neville's parents were tortured. I know how he feels." Malfoy looked her deep into eyes. "Listen. It's okay. He won't hurt him again. I heard that he called him in his office. Neville will be okay." Lorelai smiled at Malfoy. "You are actually really nice. Thanks for being there for me." Malfoy smiled. "If you need anything, you know where to find me." Lorelai nodded and Malfoy waved at her and walked out. Lorelai smiled to herself.
