Seriously all you can think about is Demetri I said.

Yes she growled.

Edward started laughing. "Stay out of this." our voices snarled. "wow. Wouldn't want to make her angry." Emmett said.

Easy there Burma don't get upset a voice said.

Who are you? Demetri Burma and I said in unison.

I'm Demetri's wolf, Jace. he said.

Ooh he's cute Burma said.

Shut up Demetri and I said.

"Let's get Demetri and Jace reunited." Hilde said. "Okay." Demetri said. I gave him a smile. He took the vial from Hilde and drank it in one gulp. He immediately started to twitch. His wolf was howling. "Ru if it hurts you to see him in pain hunt." Hilde said. I shifted and ran to hunt. It hurt me to be away but it hurt me to see him in pain.

Demetri pov

I drank the serum and I felt like I was on fire. I wanted it to end. I wanted to die.

Don't think like that or you'll never see Ruland again Jace said.

You're right I thought

I focused on Ruland. Her smile. Her tears. Her extremely cocky wolf. I wanted to be with her. "The worst of it is over." Hilde said. "You sure?" Ruland asked. Ruland was here. I felt my heart beat for the first time in a while. "His heart. It's beating." Ru, my Ru, said. "He'll be done soon." Alice said. "I love you Demetri." Ruland said.

Finally we'll mark her Jace said as the pain died away.

My eyes opened. I saw Ruland smiling. I got up shakily and went over to her. "I love you Demetri." She said.

And I love you Jace Burma said.

Ruland pov

Jasper cleared his throat. Then I remembered the prophecy and how much I had to fill Demetri in on. "Ru there's a letter for you downstairs." Bella said. Demetri and I went downstairs. I saw the letter on the table. It was in a golden envelope.

Dear Ruland

I have heard about you from Jane. You're very intriguing. I look forward to meeting you. Come to Volterra as soon as you can. I'm dying to meet you.

"Looks like I'm going to Volterra." I said. "We." Demetri said. "Fine but I need to teach you to shift. you may need to know how to." I said. "Start now and he'll get it by the end of the week." Hilde said. We ran to the clearing, according to Alice, the Volturi nearly fought them in.

"The first shift is the most painful. I can see that you and Jace are fighting for control. Take the fight to your wolf. Allow yourself to become Jace." I said. "Will you shift with me?" Demetri said. "Yes." I said. I shifted. Demetri slowly shifted. His face was twisted in agony.

Come on Demetri you're strong you can do this I thought.

His wolf was a burnt orange. This told me his clan had been a pack. I didn't care but there was a huge difference. A pack is a clan without royals. They are a little less united.

We trained for 5 days. He was able to shift with out pain. "You're ready." I said. When we got to the house I had my first home cooked meal in 500 years. Alice gave us the plane tickets we would need.

The plane left the next day for London. From there we got on a plane for a town five miles from Volterra.
