Chapter 5

Tao's pov:

Me and Shannon were currently on our plane on or way back home, I was writing my next song while Shannon was on one of the couches taking a nap seeing how she wasn't feeling all that well. I got up and walked over to her and covered her up with her favorite blanket which was mine. She nuzzled her head into it and took a deep breath and I cooed at her for being adorable and felt her forehead to see if she had a fever. I bit my lip in worry and say back down in my seat and packed my stuff up when we landed. I shook Shannon gently to wake her up "wake up love, we're at home" she stretched and got up. I laughed a little when I saw what she was wearing which was my hoodie and some dark grey sweat pants.

 "How's your song coming along love?" she said quietly and I smiled at her and kissed her forehead "its coming along great thanks for asking love" she smiled up at me and kissed the side of my neck. I smiled at her lovingly and wrapped my arms around her waist and rubbed her little swollen belly in which she was 3 months pregnant and mated to me but I was still worried about the prophecy, lets just hope it doesn't come sooner rather than later. Cause one things for sure, if I know what a pregnant woman looks like while mad, I'd hate to see what the other guy would look like. I guided her through the airport and kept a protective arm around her while trying to get through the crowed of fans, some of them even giving Shannon a jealous look. "Leave my Tao alone you skank" I heard one of them scream and I looked over at my shoulder in a panic and felt Shannon stop in her tracks and turn around slowly and to the crazy fan and everything went silent.

She smiled at the fan and I got scared for a minute as I knew what was about to come and just then she closed her eyes with a smile still on her face then her face turned cold and she opened her with a menacing glare that even the devil himself would be afraid of "I'm sorry I didn't quit here that, what did you say? you said I should stay away from him?" she laughed and I dreaded would come next and now I know your probably wondering why I'm not stepping in to stop this. well.. she got mad at a fan one time for pushing her out of jealousy and lets just say she ended up in the hospital and I almost did for stepping in. She stopped laughing shot her hand out and curled it around the girls shirt in lightning speed and jerked the girl to her so they were face to face "listen here you bitch I don't care you say behind my back but if I catch you saying it, it will be the last thing you'll ever say. Now listen carefully I'm his mate and there's nothing you can do about it. So leave me and my relationship with my mate alone and if you were ever his true fan you would respect that got it?" she growled out with her fangs coming out and her eyes changing that icy blue almost a white with her hair floating in the air like you see in animes.

She shoved the girl back in her place with the girl trembling and she turned towards me with a smile and an innocent face she stopped beside me and said "and another thing don't get in a pregnant woman's bad side or you will regret it" then grabbed my hand and continued to make our way out of the airport until I heard them cheering for Shannon for standing up for herself. I smiled and kissed her cheek and she smiled at me lovingly. "Now lets go, I'm craving some strawberries and chocolate right now" "but you just ate" she turned to me and I held my hands up in surrender "ok strawberries and chocolate. Got it" she smiled at me and skipped the rest of the way to the car. I chuckled and followed her with a little worry too because she trips a lot when she skips which she almost did but caught herself and I let out a relieved sigh. We made it back to my house and I helped Shannon out of the car and held her while walking up the stairs and opened the door for her. "I'll go make you some homemade chocolate and get you some strawberries while you go sit on the couch and get comfy and I'll be right out." I said and laughed when she heard the word homemade chocolate. She loves it.

Shannon's pov:

I wobbled my way over to the love seat and sat down waiting for Tao to come back and turned on the TV and watched a movie that had Luhan in it roller blading. Would you believe me if I told you I was friends with Luhan? No? Ok. I heard foot steps coming my way and I looked to see one of Tao's helpers who didn't like me because I apparently stole him from me even though he was like 3 years older than me. He put the strawberries in front of me and I looked at them blankly and swiped my hand over the bowl and watched a blueish green mist rise from the strawberries and evaporate. He groaned and yelled "HOW DO YOU KEEP SPOLING MY PLANES?!" he looked at him and smiled "simply because you can't kill me that easily and you show every bit of jealousy" out the corner of my eye I saw Tao watching carefully and I kept looking at his servant whos name was Casper. He grinded his teeth "just get over him already Casper and find someone else" I said bitterly. He screamed at me and slapped me hard across the face which made me whip my head to the left. I saw Tao walking over to us with a mad face and I held up my hand to stop him.

Casper saw this and whipped his head around with a scared face and began pleading "Ohhh Master Tao I'm so sorry but she tried to hurt me" he said with pleading eyes which made Tao more mad. I stood up which made Casper look at me with a smirk but it soon disappeared when he saw my face. I raised my hand and slapped him across the face which sent him flying across the hallway and straight through two walls. "you're fired" I said blankly and Casper gasped and said "you can't do that" and I said "technically I can since I'm Tao's mate but if you want his opinion, Tao what do you say?" I looked at him and he nodded "yes I think you're right Shannon Casper should've been fired a long time ago" Casper stood up with rage on his face "YOU WONT SEE THE LAST OF ME!" then disappeared with a thunderous sound of blue lighting. I turned to Tao "we wont be seeing the last of him" and I walked back to the couch and patted the seat beside me "now come sit with me and eat strawberries and chocolate" he smiled and came over to me and we cuddled the rest of the day until we fell asleep like that on the couch with the TV running in the background.
