"Who exactly are Carlisle's parents?"

Poloma and Clive Bahamed. Clive came to America from Mecca when he was 23 and, while visiting the Tornado State, met a lovely native American girl named Poloma. Poloma was a... cultured flower as some would say. She argued with store clerks about their racist figurines or other items portraying 'Indians' and she was as Choctaw as a Choctaw woman could be... with a righteous mother nature warrior attitude. Poloma loved the traditions of her ancestors and learned everything she could from her parents and grandparents.

Clive first saw Poloma while he was walking down the street and she was thrown out of a store rather suddenly. He didn't catch her or break her fall or anything romantic like that. She just fell onto the ground in front of him and he sort of made fun of her. Poloma stood up, very disheveled and told Clive off for his immaturity. He immediately took a liking to her outspoken behavior and made it his personal mission to tame her fiery personality.

Poloma, on the other hand, felt very confused by Clive. He was foreign, homeless, jobless, and now insisted upon taking her out on picnics and dinners. After a few months, Clive was miraculously able to convince Polly's dad to give him his blessing to marry her. They of course, after much bickering, ended up having a private wedding at a neutral location, since their cultures were so different. It was one year later that they had their first son and they were so happy to finally have a child of their own. They raised that boy as well as they could, but let's not talk about him just yet. As our familiar friend fate likes to run things, Poloma gave birth to another boy 6 years later. This boy was smaller, more reserved than the first and his parents had named him Carlisle. They loved him... Too much. Perhaps I should save that for later, too.

Anyways, now that they're old, Carlisle's parents are just super goofy. His mom is super doting and his father makes too many jokes and has too many hobbies. They both won't stop pestering him for some grandchildren, but they don't have that much hope because they believe he is homosexual. They're just that really nice old couple who seems like they adore each other, but argue over tiny things. Example- Clive gave Poloma an orchid and said "My apologies, this is the closest thing I could find that could compare to your beauty." And Poloma just shunned the flower.
"You picked the flower for no reason, and now it wilts. Is that what you think of me?" And totally trolled him. They're both pretty great. Carlisle doesn't really seem to think so.
