Chapter 12: He has taken a side

•time skip to lunch (the next day)•
He's not here. Michael is not here. He's in the table in front of me with a girl. Her name was Diana. And Michael was all over her. I'll just eat outside I thought. I went to a nearby tree with a bench and sat staring at my food. Hate lunch food. I literally tastes like cardboard that looks life food. I threw away the main meal and kept the golden delicious apple. I sat and thought about nothing. I looked over to the other bench and there was no one. I finished my apple and went to the restroom. I saw Michael talking to Diana, and I hid behind a wall listening to their conversation.

D: do you know who Jess is? She's pretty cool.
m: yeah I know who she is but I don't even like her she never pays attention  to me anymore. We aren't even friends. Well, at least that's what's it seems like.
d: let's be anti-Jess friends then! I'll be your new friend.
M: that would be cool

Crap! Now Michael is turning away from me. What's up with him. All I did was be alone with Jonathan's and then he starts to say things about me! A tear falls down my eye. I don't even have to go to the bathroom anymore. I'll just go back to my spot. I went back to the tree And listened to the sound of the wind. I kept my head down so no one would notice me. Someone came up to me. And looked straight down at me. The person pushed my hair out of my face and picked up my chin with its fingertips. The person could see tear marks on my face. Our eyes were locked once more.

It was Jonathan

He picked me up and set me back down on the ground and gave me a hug.

"You alright"? he said. "No" i said. "Michael betrayed me". Jonathan  and I walked to science together and we saw Michael with Diana walking down the hallway together. Jonathan covers my face with his hand making my head lean on his shoulder. They both gave each other the mega death stare.
A little after school was over I was getting ready for the party. Hm...I should call Jonathan and ask him what kinda party it is.
••Cellphone Conversation••
J: what's up?
Jess: what kinda of party are you having because I want to know what to wear.
J: it's just a casual party. Not anything formal.
Jess: Alright! Thanks a bunch! See you there
J: bye!
••Call Ends••
I head to my closet and look for some clothes. Maybe a crop top with jeans will do. I put on the outfit, grab my phone and go outside to call Michael.

He's not answering.

What's up with him?! I Deion do anything wrong. Or at least of what I know of.
I call up Jonathan and he picks up the phone.

J- Party hotline how may I help you?
Jess- haha. Hey can you pick me up Michael kinda ditched me...
J- sure!
Jess- alright see you bye!

I could see Jonathan's car driving up. I walked up tot his car. "Well hello my lady" Shall we drive". Jonathan says. I played along. "Drive we shall". I said back. We got into his car and drove up to his house. Surprisingly it was the house right behind mine. We got out of the car and Jonathan held out his hand and opened the car door for me. I grabbed his hand and said "why thank you sir". He and I blushed like strawberries. We then walked into the house silent.
