It had been a while since the members of One Direction have all been in the same room. Almost a year had gone by since their fifth album 'Made In The AM' was released, and they have been on a hiatus ever since.

Now, it is September 13th, which just so happens to be Niall Horan's birthday. You see, the poor lad had been feeling a bit lonely lately. He had spent the past five years of his life with boys that he can call his brothers, but now they aren't even going to be celebrating his birthday with him.

A few days ago, Maura, Niall's mum, noticed that her son was a bit less cheerful when he came back home for the month of September. She didn't like seeing Niall without his signature smile on his face. Obviously, she knew that his birthday was coming up, so she thought of a perfect plan to cheer her son up.

So Maura called up Harry Styles, hoping that he could help her out.

"Hello?" Harry said, when he answered the phone.

"Hi Harry, it's Maura."

"Oh, hello, how have you been?"

"Good, good, you?"

"I've been well."

"Listen, I assume you know Niall's birthday is coming up soon, right?"

"Of course, I wouldn't forget it."

"Well, my son's been a bit unhappy lately, and I think it's because he misses you lads. Especially you, he keeps talking about you all the time."

"Is that so?" Harry smirked, although his cheeks turned a light pink.

"Yes, but anyways, I was wondering if you could get the rest of the band to come and visit Niall?" Maura asked hopefully.

"Sounds lovely, I can't wait to see Niall," Harry said, a bit over excitedly.

"Thank you so much, I'll see you soon," Maura said, hanging up the phone.

She shook her head, trying to hold back a laugh at how obvious it was that Harry had a crush on her son.

Harry sent out a group message to Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik telling them to get on skype right away. Thankfully, they all agreed, and moments later they were in a group call.

"Guys, Maura told me that Niall had been upset for a while," Harry started.

"Why? What happened?" Liam questioned.

"Apparently he misses me-us," Harry stutters, trying to hide his blush.

Louis wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, causing Liam and Zayn to laugh, and Harry to blush even harder.

"Anyways, his birthday is coming up, so how about we all fly to Mullingar and throw a surprise party for him?"

"You want me to come?" Zayn asked, surprised.

When Zayn left One Direction, he and the other lads didn't end off on good terms, so he was already shocked to get a text message from Harry.

"Well, you are one of Niall's closest friends," Harry stated.

"Even if you ditched us to start up your own career, because you think you're so much better than us," Louis snarled.

"Play nice," Harry warned his sarcastic friend. "But I think it would be nice if you could come."
