This is based of reign starting season one. I change somethings to go the way I wish they would have. Also Francis does not die. I might start off from when they are kids or do flashbacks.
Marie had just gotten back to the plaice after a long carriage ride with Francis and Charles to meet his future bride. Tired she got ready go the feast after. When she wakes in she couldn't help but notice the English diplomat. He ofcourse had to come over and threaten her. When Francis noticed he swooped in for the rescue. Pulling her aside against a column in a corner. "Stop let me go" "Your shaking" "He threatened me right here in french court" "He can't do anything to you here" "How am I supposed to know that" "I will protect you" "He knows I don't have the backing of France" "Trust me we will show him otherwise. Can you do this!" She took his hand ready to face the room pretending to be in love. Little did she know Francis was falling g for her.

The next day the newly Engadget coupe were paying games as Francis loving held Marie. He couldn't help but notice how radiant she was. They laughed about old time and all the fun they had. She soon had to bring up his mother and ruin the whole moment.

When she returned to her room she found a maid wearing her dress. The poor little thing was frightened and started to apologize profusely. All the sudden she started to scream. "No don't come any closer. The dress is poisoned". She started to fall to the floor. Marie ran out screaming for help. When they got back to here chamber the girl was gone. Francis tried to calm her. He told her the culprits took her away when they realized their plan had failed. She was so frightened.
