The Locket and The Eyes

Chap 1

Aaarrrggghhhh.. The school year had just begun. There were hoards of people surrounding Ava asking her how her summer had been. She was near her locker trying to stuff her books in. Just then her boyfriend, Zachary, strolled up behind her and held her by her waist. He gave her a soft kiss on her neck saying, “Hey, missed you sweety. Wanna catch up tonight?” Ava replied with a big grin on her face saying, “Yeah sure and I missed you too.” Well, that was the only good thing about coming back to Abraham Aaron High School. She hadn’t been able to meet Zac for the entire summer as he had been on vacation in Italy.

Ava, a popular girl, spoilt because of being the only child of her rich parents was known for her good looks. She had curly brown hair cascading to her waist. She had hazel eyes which perfectly matched the colour of her hair. She drove a black Porsche convertible and she was envied by all.

Zachary, was Ava’s boyfriend of 10 months. He was the hottest guy at school and was a quarterback of the football team. He was muscular and tall. Just perfect for Ava. He too was born into a rich family. Ava had had a crush on him ever since high school had started and she was on cloud 9 when he had finally asked her out. Ava had confessed about her crush only to her best friend Natalia and both of them had a little celebration party when Ava and Zac were finally going out.

The first bell rang. Everyone rushed hurriedly for homeroom. Ava, on her four inch heels, was struggling to prevent her books from falling. Zac being the good boyfriend that he is took the books from her and Ava gave him a grateful smile and said “Thanks so much baby. I love you.” He kissed her and mumbled “Anytime for you baby” against her lips. Ava now confidently strut on her four inch heels and straightening the creases on her tank top.

She was in her own world when suddenly she banged into something rock hard. She looked up and saw the familiar face staring down at her. She gulped wondering how he out of all the people was here. Her face showed horror and her hand automatically reached up to the locket she had worn, It was a circular locket with silver work and had a turquoise stone in the middle.
