[Cyan's POV]

I've been in recovery for a few weeks now.

I removed the bandage from my hand, seeing the cut was already healed enough to not need a bandage. After all, the wounds do have to breathe.

I removed the bandages from around my abdomen and just decided to keep the wrist brace on, since i need it for another week, until my wrist fully recovers. At least there won't be anymore scars.

I am sadly still going to be in a cast for another month, so i'll just be staggering a bit with this goddamn boot.

At least i'm not in a lot of pain, except in my dreams.

"Seeya!!" i hear Copeland shout impatiently.

I laugh and push myself off the ground, and too my feet.

You learn to do a lot when you have to keep your knee straight. Its interesting yet strange.

I stumbled down the stairs and find Copeland distracted with her toys.

"Yes??" i asked.

Kellin and the boys went out for a bit and Katelynne had a doctor's appointment.

"Come pway!" she said, holding a stuffed elephant to me.

I laugh and bend my good leg next to her so i kneel down and then sit down carefully (like i said, you learn a lot with a broken leg).

Right as she handed me a doll, i hear a knock at the door and grunt.

"Can you wait hear just for a bit??" i asked Copeland.

She nodded and i got to my feet as i made my way to teh door.

I opened it to find it was the mailman.

"Cyan Winters??" he asked.

"That's me??" i said.

He then hands me the mail.

"Thank you," i said.

"Alright, get well soon," he said as he started to leave.

"Thank you. Have a good day," i said and he returned the gesture.

I closed the door and saw it was only a few bills and then a letter with my name.

I scrunched my eyebrows, seeing there was no return address.

Curious, i opened the letter as i went to the living rom where Copeland decided to watch television.

I made sure what she was watching was appropriate and then sat on the couch.

I opened the envelope and pulled out a wrinkled piece of paper.

"The truth will be surprising."

I scrunched my eyebrows together. The letters were in chicken scratch and there was no name.

I turned it around, but it was blank.

It was then the door opened and the guys walked in, but my eyes were on the paper.

It was Kellin's arms who pulled me from my thoughts, scaring me a bit.

"Hey, everything alright??" he asked as we shared a kiss.

"Yeah, just got this weird letter in the mail," i said, handing him the letter. "Usually something like that would be a death threat or something, but this is weird."

"Probably just junk mail," he said.

I shrug. "Could be."

One thing's for sure, it felt strange when i read the letter.
