•KORY ANDERS•

"Kory!" A voice echoed as I realized I was back in Tamaran. I turned around, recognizing that it was my mother.

"My daughter!" This time, the voice was deep, scruffy.

Dad, I thought. That's my father!

"Kory!"

My breath drew short and my heart beating faster than usual when I realized that was Ryan's voice.

"Ryan?!" I screamed out to the seemingly empty planet. No one was in sight, it was like nobody lived here.

"Mom?! Dad?!"

I couldn't move. It feels like I've been chained to my feet. When I looked down, it seemed like I'm free, but I felt like I was trapped.

"Oh, sister. Mother and Father won't hear you. Especially if you're stuck, no, no." I winced when I realized that it was the voice of my sister.

"Where are they? Where did you take Ryan?" I hissed.

She went out of the shadows, revealing her face. Komand'r was taller, her skin glowed even more and her hair going bigger and longer. This meant she had more energy than before.

Oh, no.

A sinister smirk appeared on her face.

"Oh, Kor, you'd really think I'm that heartless." Komand'r said, going near me, her sharp nails tracing my cheek as I shoved her away.

"I don't know, Ko. I'd wanna believe that you actually have a spark of goodness in you." I replied, a growl erupting from her.

"Well, news flash, I actually do."

Komille showed me a digital hologram of Mom, Dad, and Ryan in cuffs.

My eyes widen, grabbing the collar of Komand'r. "Where the hell are they?!" I screamed, but all I receive was a smirk. "How dare you do that to your own family, Ko!"

"Y'see, I do have a spark of goodness." She said, shoving me off as I fell flat against the dirt. "I gave them a chance to live a few minutes more, so you could see them one last time."

I directed my gaze to the digital hologram as I noticed that my mother had tear stained cheeks while my father and brother had bruised faces.

"Say goodbye to them, dear sister."

That was the last time Komand'r said before turning off the hologram.

I felt tears trickling down my cheeks, all my energy draining out from me.

"No!" I shouted. All I could do was shout, no other emotion but anger and sadness came over me as my sister's laughs in the background were no help at all.

My eyes shot open, drips of sweat with the mix of tears covering my face.

I wiped the wet drops on my cheeks and forehead, sitting up against the headboard. I planted my hands to my face, shaking my head in exhaustion.

It...it felt so real.

I decided to wash it off by going to the shower and to drown myself with work.

As I strip off my clothes and garments, going inside the shower, my mind was flooded with thoughts of what if that kind of situation actually happened and I couldn't do anything about it.
