Kyo x Yuki (Fruits Basket)

new years.

Narrator's pov.

Kyo was curled up on the couch frightened to see everyone at the New Years party. He was so terrified because...What  would they think of a pregnant cat, who may i  be in mind is also a boy?! Kyo was being watched by Tohru has Shigure and Yuki got some stuff ready and told some people. Akito(if i got that right) would probably be angry and hit the poor cat. "Kyo don't stress to much! Please! You may have  a miscarriage!" Tohru said, almost yelling, in pure worry. "S-sorry Tohru..." He sighed shakily then calmed down. Time for the party... 

-at the new years party-

Yuki's  pov.

I watched over Kyo protectively as people stared at him, some smiling and being nice. We had to meet  Akito, the head of the Zodiacs. And the one who is insane! Today he was having one of his 'sane' days. "Oh...Hi Kyo...Yuki." The way he said Kyo's name made me angry. He had venom hidden in his words.  And since  a male pregnancy is taken harder by the one pregnant Kyo is fairly sensitive to this stuff. "Hey..." was all Kyo said, he then hid behind me. "Hello Akito." Akito smiled a sickly sweet smile. Then turned to Kyo, "Can you come with me...Kitty?" He asked. 'NO! HE'S GONNA BEAT KYO!' was all  i thought.  But if i said that aloud i would be in a world of pain. Kyo nodded, hesitantly, and followed him in. After 30 mins i heard Kyo screaming, my eyes widened and so did Tohru's and Shigure. "KYO!" i shouted as i tried to open the door. The door flung open and i dodged it in the nick of time! Akito walked past everyone without a word. Or...so everyone else thought. He whispered to me: 'a cat and mouse should not be lovers.'  this made me frightened and worried about Kyo. I ran in and looked for him. "Kyo?!" Tohru yelled and ran off then screamed. Shgure followed her and i did to....What we saw was Kyo on the floor bleeding and knocked out. I sighed and picked him up shakily. I  was worried for him and the baby! I couldn't help myself but shake.  "Let's get to  the hospital." Shigure  said. "yeah...please..." I said, though it came out as a whisper through the wind. Tohru nodded and we all went to  the hospital.

Shigure's pov.

I watched Yuki sit by Kyo's bed and take his hand in a friendly manner. I sighed and shook my head, Tohru left to cook so i was with them only. "Yuki, the doctor said he and the baby was ok. He's only a few weeks pregnant. He'll wake up  in time." I said in a soft whisper. "I know. And i await for it."
