I sat in the passenger seat of the truck we were driving to the airport, where Cho had a jet, it was silent. Steve drove with a brooding expression the entire time and the twins were to scared of what we would say to speak to us. I sighed and scooted across the seat to sit closer to Steve.

Instinctively he wrapped his free arm around my body, pulling me close. "What's going on in that 90 year old mind of yours?" I couldn't help but ask.

"A lot of things. Like if Tony is actually going to try and bring this child of Ultron to life, or why Clint lied to most of us about his family, or why you chose to trust the very girl who nearly made kill yourself because you saw all those horrific images," Steve listed out for me.

I bit my lip, thinking over my response, "1.) Tony is crazy but he's not that crazy, 2.) Clint did what he had to do to keep them safe, just imagine if Ultron knew about all of them, and 3.) I don't blame Wanda completely, she thought she chose the right side and she didn't. But, yes if things had gotten worse and situations would have gone differently, there would probably be a worse problem than a minor head injury for me. Steven, that part of my past is rough and this vision had you making it happen again. It scares me," I replied sadly.

He squeezed me close, "I know. Cas, I would never do that to you. You know that right?"

"Of course I do. It was realistic, that's all. I trust you with my life Steven Grant Rogers," I smiled at him.

"Thank you for the reassurance Cassandra Pri-"

"Keep your eyes on the road and please don't say my full name," I laughed shifting his attention back to the road.

"I thought you trusted me with your life?" Steve smirked, at least keeping his eyes on the road

"When you're focused on keeping it safe," I teased.

Once we reached the airport, we had been escorted through to the private jet. The twins stopped and hesitated. Steve and I turned to them. "We don't have all day," Steve snapped them out of their worried state. As they walked on I stamped on his toe, he grimaced then glared at me.
"Not necessary."

"Be nice," I ordered walking to the front starting the jet up. Steve took the seat next to me closing the hatch. "Flight CC-117 requesting lift off," I requested.

I sat focused on flying not saying a word, not that anyone else was very talkative but still, here I sat.

"Are you upset?" Steve asked looking over slightly.

"I have no reason to be so, no," I stared to the front. "But knowing you actually do want to talk about my 'mouthing' so what is it?"

"We don't have to do that here," he tried.

"Because the tower is so much more private," I clenched my jaw.

"You just can't listen can you?"

"Obviously not as is apparent that our relationship was heading south, even before Scarlet Witch back there screwed with our minds. Speaking of which, why all the secrets as to what you saw?" I asked curious.

"You wouldn't be happ- what do you mean our relationship was going south?"

"I was beginning to feel like I was an officer in the army and your the captain as compared to teammates and a couple. Stop changing the subject back, what did you see?"

"Peggy okay?" Steve answered. "I saw her telling me that the war was over and I could go home with her." It was silent, it sounded like the twins were holding their breath listening to what was happening. I readjusted my grip on the steering for the jet and clenched my jaw. We sat in more silence. "Please say something," Steve begged.

"That sounds more like a dream come true for you. Not a bad thing at all. She sure as hell has less baggage than I. It would have been safer," I licked my lips not looking anywhere but ahead.

"Cas, you have to know that's not what I want. It was-"

"What? It was Wanda?"

"Cassandra, I love you. Surely you know that," he looked over at me.

"And you love Peggy and I get it. You don't have to justify yourself to me. You have your secrets and I have mine. Just move past it."

"So why don't we talk about that?"

"Because there's nothing to talk about. Not now, we're approaching the tower," I quickly ended the conversation.
