The wind was rushing past me. My golden brown hair whipped in my face. I looked at my brother, Keith, in the driver's seat. . The sun was shining off his Ray-Ban sunglasses, blinding me for a split second. He glanced at me from the rear view mirror. In that moment a red flash blurred my vision. Tires screeching. A high pitched scream. Glass flying through the air, cutting through everything in site. I frantically looked for Keith to help me. My body was on fire. The pain of the glass was unbearable. A click of my seat belt had me tumbling out of the car. Hitting the hard ground. I felt a great pressure on my leg. The ringing in my ears wouldn't go away. Wet sticky substance covered my body. Fingers grasped my wrist and I felt the cold band around the ring finger. Keith. Relief flooded through my body. The hand fell away from me and I frantically searched for it. Tears were streaming down my face. My legs were numb. There was a ringing in my ears. Red covered my vision. I heard the sirens. Then all there is, is darkness.
