Chapter 8: Bad Memories

--------Louis POV---------

(SAME DAY)

"Boyfriend." I whispered as the waterworks factory started up. Why didn't she tell me in the kiss? I'm an idiot. She would never go out with me. 

"Hey Lou, sorry man, I didn't want you to find out this way."Niall said, in a whisper as he saw me in tears. 

"Niall, just leave me alone please. Why don't you go with your girfriend? Go kis her and tell her how much you love her and how beautiful she looks in the moonlight." I told Niall. Ijust couldn't bear to see him here. 

"Alright." Was all he said. He son left me alone crying. I decided to get my mind off of Alyssa s I went to Starbucks. 

"Hey! Welcme to Starbucks I'm Emily, what would you like?" The red head said while smiling. 

'Uh I'll have a grande Vanilla Bean" I told Emily.

"Alright, anything else?" 

"No thats it but thanks."

"Alright and to who do I make that to?" She said

"Umm make that to Superman." I said laughing at my comment.She laughed as well. 

"Well coming right up that will be $3.75" I handed her the money and she gave me the change and she handed me the receipt. "Yu should call me sometime" She said while wriliting her number on a napkin. I sat down on one of the benches and waited for my order. "SUPERMAN!!!!" Emily yelled my order and I soon picked it up. "Have a nice day!" 

"You too!" I left, laughing at what had just happened.

I got to my dorm quicker than I thought I would. I opened the door revealing a sleepy Zayn and my Hazza bear eating an oreo. "Hey Hazz!"

"BOOBEAR!!! I MISSED YOU" Hazz yelled and a sleepy Zayn just shushed us. 

--------NIALL POV------

"Hey, Alyssa! Sorry for all of that commotion in my dorm." I told her as she started to unpack. "But why did yu tell him we were dating?"

"Niall,  its okay but I just panicked and he thought we were in a make-out session! All you did was tickle me!" She said in a whisper. 

"I know. Alyssa, will you-" I cut myself off as she started to cry. "Love, whats wrong?" I asked loking at her hands which were holding a note.

She handed me the note and I stared to read.

Hey, Alyssa,

I'm heading to the mall to go buy you an early birthday present hope you like it

Love, Auntie Patricia

(PLAY SONG NOW)"Niall, that letter was written on the day my Aunt died. She was going to the mall to go buy me a present for my birthday that was coming up in a few weeks. Unfortunately, she was too busy to go visit me on my birthday so she decided to give me my present early. That night , I looked out my window right when she left and I heard a car screeching. There was a big lake near my house and at night, there was a drunk driver and he crashed into her car. Her car was pushed into the lake and she didn't know how to swim. I ran outside, staring at her car as it sank. I was so small, I didn't know what to do and my parents left for vacation that day. As her car sank down, I thought I could save her but I was too late. Her car already sank to the bottom and there was no sign of my aunt anywhere. I cried all day and I told the neighbors what had happened and they called the ambulance. In  about three minutes, they pulled up in my driveway and they rescued her car and they found her body. My parents came a few minutes after, hearing the news on the telivision."

"Alyssa, its okay. Come here" I told her hugging her. 

"Niall, she was just so young. Everything reminds me of her. I went into depression for so many years. Everyday, I cut myself afterschool at home. I always sat alone by myself until Caitlyn came to my table and talked to me. I was still cutting and I decided to drink fabric softener because there was no bleach at home. I hid the bottles from my mom and I wanted to die everyday of my life. I wanted to be with my aunt again. I missed her so much. I was about to cut deep until Caitlyn caught me and she stopped me. I couldn't take it anymore so everynight, I took some alcohol and poured it in a glass and I drank it. I didn't care anymore. My mom quit her job and she never came out of her room. She couldn't even see my dad anymore. My aunt was the one who told them to be together. It was all too much. My mom started to get drunk every night and my dad was working as hard as he could trying to manage paying bills and giving us something to eat. It hurts Niall. I just can't bear the pain. We were so close. She was like my second mom. She was only 21. I was only 10. That year, I moved from my house to a new place. " I heard her sob. 

"Cry out all of your pain." I told her.

----------Louis POV-----

I came back to where I left off, looking at Alyssa and I's memories together. I found a necklace shaped as half of a heart. 

********FLashback*********

"I will love you forever. Alyssa here have half of this heart neclace. Keep it forever" I said handing her the neclace

"Forever, Louis, Forever"
