Chapter 4: Past memories

As James walked through the castle's walls, he knew something was not right. He was already aware of this fact the moment he stepped foot at the entrance but he didn't know what it was that he would be encountering. Which was why he was anticipating the worse, whatever it was that took down Daphne and three enchantix fairies has to be strong and it wasn't a joke.

Secretly however, even though he didn't show it.....he was both grateful and angry towards guardian fairies and any alike them. Who could blame him? Throughout history and time, it was now his turn to feel the burden.

As he continued walking, James eventually came across a huge room which James assumed was the throne room. He soon heard grunting above him, looking up...James found the king and queen struggling against their restraints. James quickly jumped up and he was soon clinging onto the restraint that was holding them captive.

"Hang on your majesties, I am prince James of Domino. I've come to save you" said James.

He soon fired a laser from the tip of his index finger and it burned through the restraints. James quickly grabbed hold of both the king and queen using just one hand before using his magic to slowly and gently lower them down. Letting go of the destroyed restraints, James landed in front of the king and queen.

"You need to get out of here immediately. By the way, did you see four fairies come through here?" asked James.

"Yes we did, they tried to save us but some kind of enemy interfered and they were soon dragged into another room" said Luna.

"Save your strength my queen, from the looks of it.......your family is at stake here" said James.

It was true, the queen was pregnant with a young girl. Of course James didn't know that but regardless, their safety was his number one concern right now. He soon created a long and huge fiery dragon.

"This dragon will keep you safe while you wait outside, I'm going further in to find the fairies" said James.

Nodding, the king helped the queen to her feet and they were soon heading for the exit. The dragon followed them, following its master's orders of keeping them safe.

As James continued on, he started thinking about the restraints that were used on the king and queen.

"If I remember right, those kind of restraints are made by only one race. The Savviers, they feed on the mystical life force of all living beings. As they feed on all things mystical....I can only hope I'm not too late" thought James as he soon ran down the corridors.

As James continued down the corridor, he began hearing gasps and moans. Recognizing the voices, James sped even faster until he reached the farthest room at the end. Upon arrival, James had the biggest shock of his life.

The Savviers had the fairies pinned down on the floor and they were having their ways with them. The fairies were struggling but it was futile as their powers were continuously drained and their bodies were 'food' for the savvies. Their fairy outfits were also completely gone, meaning that there was nothing covering them at all. Not even their gloves, boots or barefoot sandals. The savvies were also eating the pieces of their torn outfits as it was made out of the fairies enchantix and sirenix magic after all.

"I'm only going to say this once.........get out of here and off of them" said James as he opened fire.

The moment the attacks connected with the creatures, they were instantly dead. The Savviers immediately stopped what they were doing and they were soon focusing on the lone attacker. The more the creatures fought back, the more they fell.
