Years ago, 3 people were sent to a disturbance on Mars. Those people ended up being the first humans to lay eyes on the Traveler. Afterward, the Traveler gave the human race knowledge beyond our own comprehension. That encounter has changed Earth forever. Afterward, we ushered in a Golden Age. Lifespans tripled, and the Traveler terraformed most of the Solar System. We colonized the Moon, Mars, Earth, Venus and beyond.
But, alas, all good things must come to an end. Some people call it a cosmic force that rivals the Traveler. Others just call it a massive alien armada, but it is generally known as the Darkness. The Darkness came, and it brought forces from different species. It was almost humanity's end, causing it to be known as the Collapse. When the Collapse hit, the Traveler sacrificed itself to create Ghosts. Ghosts seek out Guardian to protect what is left of humanity. The Ghosts resurrect people who died during the Collapse. They weaponize the Traveler's energy, also known as Light. They were separated into different classes(Titan, Warlock, and Hunter) and subclasses. They all have powerful Ultimate abilities that take time for them to gather enough Light to use. (Fist of Havoc, Golden Gun, or a Nova Bomb just to name a few) Enemies from various species have taken over different planets in the Solar System, but the main threats to Earth are the Fallen and the Hive. The Traveler still exists, but it is weaker. It is rumored that the Traveler is somewhere on Earth, and when under it, it will protect you from all creatures of the Darkness...

Jen patrolled the area. They sent her in to investigate reports of Fallen in the area. Jen had the ability to scout better than a normal Guardian. If anything went wrong, she can go invisible by throwing a smoke bomb at the ground. Jen was a talented Nightstalker, better than any other known one. She had emerald colored eyes and was a brown haired Hunter. She was a fairly small woman, but looks could be deceiving. Jen was one of the most feared Guardians at Base Camp. She inspected her Hand Cannon. The top of it shined silver. Jen felt what she had engraved into the bottom. The First Curse, it read. The ground shaking took Jen's attention away from The First Curse. She looked up to see a Fallen Skiff come out from warp speed close to the surface and dropped off 20 or so Fallen. Fallen were now crawling all over the place. Dregs patrolled the streets around the rundown building. Shanks scouted the area, searching for anything out of the ordinary. A large Servitor was going inside the English Center of Technology, escorted by 2 Captains. Jen put on her helmet, "Let's get ready to do this" She brought out her Ghost. He scanned the surrounding area.
, "There are soo many Fallen," He turned to face Jen, "Can't we just leave?"
"How many Fallen are here?,"Jen asked
"Over 100 on this block, but I think there is a more important question."
"And that is..."
"What would they need from here?" Her Ghost questioned.
" We can ask the Warlock mentor, Mikael. If he doesn't know what the Fallen might need, we might have to ask Lydia." Jen told him. Jen dreaded the next time she would have to see that light-forbidden Warlock. Jen saw Lydia as a self-righteous Warlock that was out for her own good. She only cares about recovering Golden Age relics and technology. She has her band of fellow Warlocks that help her out with that goal. Lydia knew enough about the Fallen to know what information they would want. After finishing that thought, Jen heard her Ghost sigh.
"It might come to that, but for now, you might need for Derrick and Griffin to come in and bring support." Her Ghost told her. She thought about it. She might need Derrick's help and she really wants to see Griffin, but she knew she could deal with the nearby enemies by herself.
"I can handle myself for now." She replied,
"Whatever you say." Her Ghost disappeared.
This has been my first chapter in anything like this for a while. I had to make lots of edits for this to be shorter. More than half of what was this chapter will be in the next one.Please comment if you want me to make another chapter.THANKS FOR READING
