"...And thats how you quickly jump from bass to Treble in a transition." Adrian said, turning to Cassandra who was diligently watching his hands glide on the piano.
"...Can you show me one more time?" she asks sweetly, flashing him a contagious smile. He lightly chuckles as he plays the song again, a familiar tune that Cassandra knows very well.
"I can show you the world, shining shimmering splendid!" he sang, his deep baritoned voice sang as he turned to her and smiled. Her eyes lit up as he sang, they always had. When she was in choir and the instuctor had the men sing, she'd always turn her head to listen to his voice. She always thought he seemed happy when he sang...and she wished he would always feel that way. "Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?"
He inhaled then continued the duet. "I can open your eyes

The duet was coming to an end as Adrian slowed the piano turning to Cassandra who was already watching as they sang their final line.
"For you and me..."
And thats when the world around them froze, for once it was just the two of them and the music. No choir singing along, nobody pressuring them to be more than what they were.. just them. Singing sincerely to each other.
Adrian looked down at Cassandra as the last note lingered, his eyes taking in all of her features. Her short hair the way her dimple formed on her cheek when moved her lips. Her lips..his eyes stopped there as did hers.
Thats when they slowly began to lean in. Their eyes fluttered shut as their lips pressed against each other, their hearts beating faster and even skipping a few beats as they pulled away and gazed into each others eyes.
"Adrian..?" Cassandra squeaked, not looking away from Adrian.
"Yes?"
"I love you"
