IRBWY Prologue

Natsu's P.O.V
This was the day,the day in gonna court Lucy.We've been bestfriends since middle school.Now,we meet each other again at the Tokyo University.Enough of me talking to myself,There she is!I mentally screamed at myself.
"U-Uh Luce!" I called out to her.Her head turns to face mine.She immediately smiled those sweet smile that made me fall for her.
"Yeah Natsu?" She asked with that angelic voice of hers.
"D-Do you have a minute?" I could feel myself heat up.'Damn it,Natsu!Get yourself together!'my inner conscious screamed at me.
"Sure Natsu! And are you sick? Cause your face is all flushed!" She used her hand and put it on my forehead.
"Huh? That's weird,your not sick..."She started to tap her chin.Its a habit for her to do that while thinking.
"It's nothing c'mon Luce!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her to a beautiful garden that i found yesterday while wandering around the uni.
"Where are you taking me to,Natsu?"She asked as we came into a halt in front of a bed of colorful flowers.
"Uh..Lucy..I need to tell you something.." I looked at her beautiful face.
"What's with the serious face,Natsu?And what do you need to tell me?" She tilted her head a little which could make anyone weak at their knees.
I unconsciously pin her at a tree.I could feel my heart beating at a rapid rate.
I slowly leaned closer to her face.Before I know it,I closed the gap between the 2 of us.
I pulled away as soon as I knew what I did."I-Im s-sorry I didn-" I didn't get to finish my sentence when I felt a pair of lips smashing against mine,but the pair of lips wasn't just anybodies,it was Lucy's!I melted into the kiss and started pinning her against the tree.
I pulled away after a minute to catch my breath.I looked at her face.it was so beautiful,so perfect."Luce,Will you be my girlfriend?"I blurted those words out.
She didn't reply,but instead,she just gave me a quick peck.I looked at her,dumbfounded at what she did.I smirked as soon as I realize what she did.
"I take that as a yes?"
~~TimeSkip 4 Years Later~~
On the same garden......
Today is the day,The day I propose to Lucy.I brought Lucy to the place where I first courted her.
"Ahh...do you still remember this place,Natsu?"She ran across the dirt road to the same tree where we had our first kiss.
"Of course I do,Luce! It's where I courted you,and it's also the place where we had our first kiss together"I smiled as I remember the memory.
"So Natsu,why'd you bring me to this place again?" She turned to me and asked.
'Okay Natsu,This is it!Remember! Don't chicken out like you did with the rest of the chance!'My inner conscious reminded me.
I gave myself a quick nod before I knelt down in front of Lucy.
"Luce..."I gulped and mustered all my courage for the words I'm gonna say."Will You Marry Me?" I searched her eyes for and answer but instead all I see are tears.
SHIT! Did I make her cry?
"Luce?D-did I say something wrong? H-hey stop crying Luce!" I panicked.She continued to cry harder.I was just gonna ask her what's wrong when...
"You idiot! These are tears of joy!" She looked at me and hugged me tightly.She pulled away shortly after and says."I Will" and that day became the happiest day of my life.
