I Just Don't Know.

Lies, Ceeps,and Stalkers.

   I was going to be OK. I knew I would. Life always gets better after you have been dealt a lousy streak of rotten luck.  I walked into class and Dillan gave me a super cute smile and I melted.  I went to sit by him as had become our normal routine.

"Hey there Cass!"

"Hey Dill pickle!" I winked. He hated when I called him that. He playfully growled at me and I laughed.

"Girl don't make me get out of this chair!"

"You wont do nothing!!!"

"Your right I won't do nothing I will do something, what have I told you about those double negatives?" He shook his pointer in my face and I bit at his finger.

"Don't do that or I might have to get ya."

"Well I..."

"Kids settle down! It's time to get busy!"

   Everyone made random noises in protest but she Started writing the notes on the board anyways. Dill leaned over to me and passed a piece of paper over to me.

-How are you today???-

   I took in a sharp breath and recollected the last few nights I had cried myself to sleep.

-Okay I have been better...Its funny how close we are now. I remember the 1st day you got here you looked like you was sizing me up-

   He laughed as he wrote back.

-Well I was ;) hehe nah I'm just kidding...well kinda I have always been told Im a good judge of character so I was trying to see if I could trust you.-

-Ah well I guess you decided you can???-

-You bet I can I could tell you were a sweet little girl ;)-

-Little?!?!-

-Yeah Little...My Little Cassy!-

   He tapped me on my nose and I crinkled it up as I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Don't tempt me I might bite." He winked.

"Go ahead see if I care."

   Right before he laughed I saw something flash in his eyes. I could't tell what it was. I felt a knot start tying itself in my stomach as I looked at him. He smiled and I sent him a smile back and looked back at the teacher. We sat there taking notes for the rest of the period.

   The bell finally rang after seven pages of notes and  a nearly bruised wrist. I was walking outside when a voice came over the P.A. system.

-Cassidy Talles Please come to the high school office!!!-

   I groaned and made a 180 towards the office. I heard my name fall across the lips of the one who held my heart captivated until I woke up back in the real world.

"I swear me and Cassidy are over!!!!" James nearly shouted.

   I wonder who he is talking to...All of the girls here were jealous when we were going out so it could be any one of them.

"Yeah, thats what they all say when they try and get with me." I heard a voice as sweet as honey but as forked as a snake.

   I really wish I knew who that was. I know I have heard the voice before I just cant remember where.

"Baby come on I need you not her she was just a cheap little fling, Just something to keep me occupied when I needed it." He pleaded.

   I tried to hold the tears back as I heard the monster of a guy I used to know and love as he slandered me and told ridiculous lies about me.

   Alrighty then James if that how you want to be.

   A Bible verse came to my mind and I nearly laughed but I knew if I laughed it would shed all the tears I felt. Tears of anger, sadness, but most of all regret.

   Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned, Ha funny how true that is!

"Well maybe I will come and finish our "tutoring" session," She huffed "I mean I cant have my new boyfriend lookinf ignorant in the only class he has with me."

   Seline!!! Oh its on now he lied to me and humiliated me just to get the schools most eligible bachelorette OK then.

   I jumped up and headed back to the office. When I got there The lights were all off and nobody was there.

"Hello? Is anybody here? I was called to the office and---"

   I was cut off by a voice more soothing and deceiving that even Seline's.

"None of your teachers call you here my pet, I did."

   I was a little frightened but I decided not to show it and play along.

"Who is I?"

"I is somebody you will be spending a lot of time when very soon, our fates are intertwined most asssuredly."

"Our fates? Who are you."

"It does not matter Miss Cassidy. You will find out soon enough."

"Hey how do you know my name!? who are you."

"Like I said no one of consequence You will find out soon."

   I opened my mouth to say something else but then something moved and Chills ran over my body I walked out and started walking home never feeling exactly secure again.
