Chapter 5

I just stood there trying to process what just happened. Man, he really had me wanting more and i was kinda mad.. This nigga just did a kiss and run and i don't know how to feel about that. I finally got in the car and headed out to my parents house to go get my baby boy, then went home.

Bubba was already sleep so I just put him in the bed then I took my shower and got in the bed.

When I woke up, I took care of my hygiene and by the time I was done Jaheim woke up too.

"Mommy. I hungy." Jaheim said walking in the bathroom with me, trying to to say hungry.

"Ok man let's brush your teeth." I said and I helped him brush his teeth then I went to go cook breakfast. I cooked some pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash brown, bacon, and biscuits. I know that seem like a lot but I didn't cook much of it since it's just Bubba and I.

"Yum yum." Jaheim said when I put his plate down in front of him. We ate then I took him a bath and put him on some news clothes I bought him. My baby boy was looking fresh with his polo on. Afterwards me and him just sat down watching cartoons and then I heard my phone ringing, it was my daddy.

PHONE CALL

Me: Hey daddy.

Daddy: Hey baby girl.

Me: What's up?

Daddy: So your mom and I are going to be gone to Florida for two weeks.

Me: What, why?

Daddy: Your Gram Gram isn't doing too well so we're going to stay with her for just a while.

Me: Awe man. Poor Gram Gram. Well I guess I gotta find a babysitter.

Daddy: Yeah sorry Hun.

Me: It's ok. Tell Gram Gram I said hi.

Daddy: I will.

Man, where am I going to find a babysitter? I can't afford one being that most of my money just went towards my loans. Ugh! This is the life of being a single mother, with a 2year old child, going to school and working. It's hard when you can't find anyone to watch your child, especially if you're paranoid of just anyone watching them.

I heard my doorbell so I went to get the door and saw Sarita.

"Hey girl...... Eeew what's that smell?" I said to Sarita, I smelled a nasty stinky stinch coming from outside.

"I don't know. I thought the same thing. Maybe it's a sewage problem." Sarita said walking in.

"These apartments always got something going on."

"Sharita!" Jaheim said getting off the couch and running to her.

"Hey jelly bean." she said hugging him. "So girl. I'm hungry I was thinking about going out to eat. You want to go?" she asked me.

"Girl we just ate ah hour ago, but I'm down." I said and then her phone started ringing. When she was on the phone, I went to go get dressed then I put Jaheim shoes on and went back in the living room.

"You ready? Synïa gon meet us up there." Sarita said.

"Yeah we ready." We walked out the door to that stinky smell and I got in my car buckling up Jaheim then we left.

We made it to peako's and waited for Synïa, she was here 25mins later.

"Hey sis, girl when you gone get that tattoo finished you've been having that since you was 16" Sarita said to to Synïa.
