Chapter 22

RICKO POV

When I heard Destiny say that she was pregnant with my baby my whole body tensed up.

"Baby." I said looking at Tracy. She looked hurt and her body froze while Destiny was laughing.

"Now don't you look stupid." Destiny said to Tracy.

"Destiny you better chill the fxck out." I said getting mad.

"Or what?"

"I swear if you wasn't pregnant."

Tracy finally unfroze and she didn't say a word, she just walked upstairs.

"Awe someone looks hurt." Destiny said laughing.

"Get off my fxcking property and don't come back. I'll call you to talk about this whole situation."

"Ok whatever." She said then she walked off. I closed the door and went upstairs where Tracy was.

"Tracy look at me." I said. She was putting on her shoes as if she was about to leave.

"I just want you to answer one question."

"Ok."

"Did you or did you not fxck her when we was together?"

"What?"

"Did you or did you not fxck her when we was together?" She said louder and I can see the hurt in her eyes. I could see the tears welling up.

"Yes I did."

"That's all I needed to know." She said about to walk out the room but I ran in front of her to stop her.

"Listen to me."

"Ricko I don't want to hear anything you have say right now."

"Listen. I know Im fxcked up for it and I'm sorry. That day I was so pissed off at you and I guess I just did the first thing that came to mind. "

"So you decided to hxe around?"

"Tracy."

"I'm going to my moms house. I'll be back later but don't wait up." She said squeezing by me and she left. I thought it was best if I just let her go and give her some time.


"Fxck!" I said out loud. I grabbed my keys, locked up and then headed to the trap.

"Dxmn nxgga that's like your 2nd blunt. What's up with you?" Kendrick asked me.

"Let me guess. Tracy?" Smoky said walking in.

"Yeah, but that's not who's on my mind right now." I said putting down the blunt.

"Who is it?"

"Destiny."

"Nxgga I thought I told yo a** to leave her alone." Smoky said grabbing the blunt.

"I did leave her a** alone."

"Then what's the problem?"

"She came up to my house ah hour ago saying she pregnant with my baby."

"Dxmn." Smoky said.

"If I was you I wouldn't believe that shxt until there's proof. Ah bxtch could say they pregnant with yo baby anytime. Trust me I know. That shxt gone be said if they know that the money long." Kendrick said.

"Yeah he right."

"I just gotta figure some shxt out. I know Tracy mad at me. It's funny how everything went from bad to good, bad to good and right back to bad."

"That's crazy."

"Yeah. Well ill hit y'all nxggas up later. And some of yall in here that's sitting y'all a** down instead of out there working gone have something later. This ain't y'all grandma house, get y'all a**** up." I said then some people got up leaving. I left and went to my mama house to see how she was doing.





I got to the house and saw Alysha car, my sister will stay over here for hours. I used the spare key to open the door and was welcomed by my niece Essence.


"Uncle Ricko!" She yelled running to me.

"Sup girl." I said picking her up.

"We went to your house and you wasn't there."

"Awe you did?"


"Sup Unc." My 15 year old nephew, Kevin said walking up to me and I put Essence down.

"Sup nephew. You got tall on me man. Where y'all mama and grandma at?"

"In the kitchen." They said at the same time.


I went in the kitchen and saw they was talking. "Sup mama." I said kissing her on her cheek. "Hey baby."


"Sup Alysha." "Hey big head."


"You forgetting about your big brother." I heard somebody say behind me and I turned around to see my brother Kurtis walking in.

"Dxmn Kurt. I ain't seen you since you got married. The lady done took you away from us." I said hugging him.


"I know man. It's been a long time."

"How is Karlee anyways?"

"I don't know. I haven't talked to her since we got a divorce."

"Awe man I'm sorry. I didn't know."

"Nah it's all good."


"Ricko where's Tracy?" My mama asked me.


"Who's Tracy." Kurt and Alysha said at the same time.



"That's Uncle Ricko girlfriend. She's pretty and nice. She told me I was beautiful." Essence said walking in.


"I don't see why." Kevin said.

"Shut up!"

"Aye y'all two better cool it." Alysha said getting mad.


"Any ways Tracy is at her mama house. We kinda got into it cuz Destiny popped up." I said rubbing my hands across my waves.


"What happened?"

"Destiny came to my house saying she was pregnant."


"Dxmn lil brother. You got it worst than me."


"Yeah but that's not the bad part."


"Then what is."


"Tracy asked if I did it with Destiny while we was together."


"Let me guess, you did." Alysha said and I nodded. "Ricko you just as stupid as i don't know what."


"Alysha shut yo a** up." I said going off.


"No you shut up!"


"Aye both of y'all shut up! Y'all worst than the kids and Ricko you watch yo mouth when you in my house." My mama said. "Now Ricko i don't know what you got going on but if you planning on keeping that girl you better figure something out. Don't be dragging that girl through the dirt."


I thought about it and she was right. Man I gotta get some shxt straight.


"I hear you. Well I'll hit y'all up later."


"Alright lil brother." Kurt said, We dapped and then I left.

I called Tracy a few times and she didn't answer my calls. I was just chillin in the bed watching tv and the clock read 1:00am. She had a nxgga worried and shxt.

I went downstairs to get something to drink and I called her phone again. As I made it to the kitchen I heard a ringtone. It came from the living room.



When I went in there I saw Tracy laying on the couch knocked out. I didn't even hear her come in. I picked her up bridal style, sliding her phone in my pocket. After carrying her upstairs I gently took her shoes off, and her pants off but I left her in her shirt.



I put her phone on the charger then I slid in bed, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her close.


"I wanted to sleep alone." I heard her mumble.


"That's the problem. I won't let you sleep alone." I said and I kissed her forehead then fell asleep thinking about what I was gone do.
