Just Another Diggy Story....

Dinner date

The time is 7:13 and you begin to wonder if Diggy stood you up. The phone call had you all nervous but now you were worried stiff, and all types of questions were running around in your mind. You check the time again, 7:17, still nothing, so you continue to watch TV. An AT&T ad comes on and you remember the one diggy had and you begin to choke up when you hear a car honk outside your house. Now the clock says 7:30. As you walk outside you see a black Toyota car parked outside your house. The window rolls down and you see diggy flash his gorgeous smile. You run inside, grab your purse, walk back outside and turn back to lock up and walk towards the car.

Diggy : hey sorry I’m late but I texted you telling you that I was stuck in traffic.

You : oh nah it’s okay [you didn’t even check you phone but diggy’s smile made you forget everything]

Diggy : [leans forward and kisses you on your cheek] you ready to go right?

You : yea, where are we going?

Diggy : it’s a surprise

 You : [smiling] okay

You and diggy drive around and you can’t help but feel like diggy’s watching you more than the road. Eventually you catch him watching you and you just smile back.

Diggy : dang girl, I’m sorry but you look amazing! I can’t stop staring at you

You: [blushes] thanks and I realize. I wasn’t sure what to put on so I just thought this would be ok.

Diggy : it’s more than ok, It’s perfect, too cheesy?

You : naw, cute tho.

Diggy does one more turn and drives into a parking lot. He parks the car, jumps out and walks around the car to go open you door. As you walk out he grabs your hand and tells you to close your eyes. You hesitate at first but you trust him so you close your eyes as he heads you to wherever you’re going. As diggy hold your hand and walks to, you hear him talking to someone then you continue walking, then stop.

Diggy : you still got yo eyes closed right?

You : yea

Diggy : aite just sit down here

You : okay

Diggy : Ok you can open your eyes now.

You slowly open your eyes and realize you and diggy are on a rooftop and you can overlook the whole of new york city! Diggy’s sitting opposite you on the table and you gaze all around in amazement. New york was breath-taking with all the lights at night already, but on a rooftop with diggy just seemed extra special and even more breath-taking.

Diggy : like it?

You : oh my god… I’m speechless..

Diggy : glad you like it, and I hope you like Italian food.

You : I love Italian food

Diggy : great

Diggy signals a waiter to come to your table. Diggy orders his food, and you order yours.  Diggy asks you if you like pizza and you nod in reply. He orders a margarita pizza and the waiter walks away. 5 minutes later he comes back up with two glasses. He sets them down on a table and walks away.

Diggy : so um what was your name again ?

You : It’s [your name]

Diggy : oh cool that’s my cousins name

You : cool

Diggy : so how long you dancing for?

You : since I was 3

Diggy : dang girl, no wonder you got them moves

You : [blushing and smiling] thanks

Diggy : I love you smile, I could just stare at it for hours..

You : [smile again] well I’m always laughing so I guess if we go out again you’ll be hearing me laughing and seeing me smiling more.

Diggy : I’d love that.

The waiter comes back up with his hands full of food. He sets your plates down and then sets the pizza in the middle. As you eat you can’t help but stop every once in a while and stare at the amazing view of new york city, then occasionally look at diggy. *he was so cute when he ate* you thought to yourself as you ate your pasta. Diggy seemed so enthusiastic to finish his pasta that he drops some on his pants.

You : [laughing] slow down diggy !

Diggy [smiling back at you ] there’s the famous laugh… and I didn’t mean to do that tho, this is so embarrassing.

You : [still laughing] it’s okay I think we should get you cleaned up though.

You get out of your chair, pick up a napkin and walk over to diggy’s chair. You slowly rub off the stain on his pants and still laughing while you did it. *he looked so funny when he felt embarrassed and looked so cute* you thought to yourself.

You : I think I should feed you your pizza cuz if that fell on you then that’d be a messier situation.

Diggy : that’s cool with me

Diggy signals for you to sit on his lap and you sit down and just make yourself a little comfortable. You rip off a slice of pizza and you and diggy laugh as you fight with the cheese that seems to get longer as you pull. Eventually you break off the cheese and put the end of the pizza in diggy’s mouth. He bites it off and chews. After he’s finished chewing, he flashes you that award-winning smile of his and he leans forward to kiss you. You don’t even realize it yourself but you’re leaning in too. You and diggy share you first real kiss.

Diggy : sorry [your name] i was in the heat of the moment

You : naw its cool.. I actually enjoyed that

Diggy : okay [smiles again] , we should finish eat our pizza.

You : yea but I’m staying on your  lap to eat it.

Diggy : [laughing] okay.

You and diggy finish off the pizza. You get up off of diggy so that he can come out his chair. You both tell the waiter bye and walk into the elevator holding hands. You can’t help but think to yourself that this was the perfect first date.. ever. Diggy carries you back to his car, and drives you home. When you arrive on your street, you give diggy a quick kiss on his check and wave goodbye. As you walk up the stairs to the door, diggy honks his car horn at you. You show him the call-me sign and he drives off.
