I woke up and stood near the window staring at the people who were passing by, and watching the children playing and hearing their innocent laughter, and suddenly out of nowhere I was wondering to myself how much pleasant my life is, I have everything one would hope for, a decent family, loving friends, a love that I think would last for life time, I just love my life.
Everything was perfect, I don't have anything more to even hope for.
I don't have a broken family, don't have a bad boy in life, or friends who would cheat me, sometimes I even wonder how blessed I am.
When I am in my own thoughts, a knock on my door pulled me out from the trance I have been in.
"Allie, what the hell do you think you are doing, do you want to get late on first day of the college itself go get ready fast".
Sam yelled as soon as I opened the door, sighing and muttering how much I hate her under my breath for yelling on such a early morning, I started to get ready because you know I really don't have any other choice.
And in 30 minutes, we reached to our college
"All the best for your first day, have a good start Allie", Sam said.
Same to you dude, I replied and started to go to my class thinking how my new college life would be.
Sam and me, we have been friends from childhood and we love each other's company, we have been through every situation whether it's a happy or grim one, we both know each other so much so that we know how to pull each other's leg and also know the time when we need each other's support.
One look on her face, I could tell what she might be thinking and what she is feeling. Well, that's what bestfriends are for right?
I was so much in my thoughts that I bumped with someone, I rearranged my books that have fallen down, and looked at the person I have just bumped. Oh! a girl with specs, she apologized and introduced herself as Aditi. She look exactly like a nerd that just came out of the books I read and I don't know why but I liked her at the very first instant. She seemed polite, kind and felt like we will hit off instantly.
I introduced myself and felt great when I got to know that we share the same class too.
Thank god, I have already got a friend on the first day itself.
Well, today is not gonna be a boring day.
