The Beldam- Threadweaver of the Wilds.

Many creatures that I have mentioned so far have been forest dwellers. And as with all of them I am cautioning you again now to beware and not wander off too far when alone into the Wilds. For among caves and trees, hiding away from the wandering eye and alive straight from the darkest of nightmares exists a witch unlike any other. 8 limbs all bony and covered in prickly needles, arms twisted and protruding black thorns and eyes so cold, sunken and piercing you'd swear you are looking at lifeless buttons instead of real human eyes. Her hair as white as snow and all matted and unkempt from centuries of no care. Her flesh covered in mold and so rotted over you'd swear you are looking at wormwood and not skin. She is the Beldam, Shapeshifter, child killer, weaver of fated threads. Stealer of souls, devourer of mortal men. Avoid this woman at all costs.
No one knows what exactly it is that made her this way or where she came from. Even I do not know of this information, but it is said that she was once an old hag that made a deal with a Demon King so that she may forever appear young and beautiful. But as usual the deal came at a terrible price. The old crone's soul was taken and to keep herself sustained she had to steal the youth from young children. So she wanders the forests taking travelers into wherever it is she chose to make her domicile and there she takes away their youth, and by consequence their lives. As a result of her monstrous nature it is then said that she began to change shape to lure you to her and over time the shape changing and predatory behavior turned her into the way you see her now. A giant old spider woman demon thing.
She can weave many complex illusions to come closer, going so far as to read your memories and create replicas of your loved ones to be her pawns and slaves. For this she is known as the dream weaver and the spider witch. Her form most resembles a Drider in nature.
To escape her requires 1 of 3 conditions to be met:
1. You aren't human (She once tried to steal the eternal youth from a Methuselah and failed miserably and ever since then humans have been her only prey)
2. You blind her and escape quietly.
3. You resist her tricks and don't let yourself be lured in. (That's why I say NEVER wander too fucking far!!!!)
To kill her is a simple matter here are the steps in order:
1. Burn her with fire. (Even her unnaturally rotten and tough flesh cannot withstand flames)
2. Bury what is left deep beneath the ground (Stops her from coming back to life)
3. Place a heavy stone over the ground you buried her. (Safety precaution to make sure the old crone STAYS down there)
