"Three Kings of Orient are.

Bearing gifts they traverse afar.

Through field and fountain.

Moor and mountain.

Following three bright stars."

In olden days, thousands of years ago when Sorcery was still spread far and wide, men would come to learn the Arcane arts from many  a School of Mancy. These schools taught the ways of magic to those with high enough proficiency, dedication and talent. The reasons for these apprentices were varied, some came for power, others for fame, others for wealth, others for revenge and others for justice. Regardless of reason very few made it through these grueling tasks. It takes decades for a human to learn a single school of Mancy if they are lucky, it may well take them much of their entire life. A human mastering more than one school was unheard of once. But then came them. Three men, of unknown origin from the farthest corners of the East came forth, journeying long and arduously across shifting dessert and freezing mountain in search of the schools of Mancy. Their skill in magistry is something that was impossible to match then, and is difficult to replicate today. For in 2 years each had done what it takes others their entire lives. They mastered school after school and in 48 years had learned every school of magic in existence. They had become so mighty that they in fact learned how to stop their aging process, making themselves chronologically immortal. This was unheard of, it was to many an impossible feat and so from far and wide many students tried to learn their secrets but all were turned away except for one. The one who succeeded was a boy named Emris, the boy went to each of the three and asked them only one question. The Question was simply "How does one truly become strong." Each Magi had a separate and different answer. Melfor, who knew no fear told Emris that courage was the way to true power, that courage could fell the mightiest foe, even death. Gamsar, who knew no arrogance spoke plainly that he believed Humility to be the true way to power, for pride and arrogance corrupt and distort one's focus and ends in one's own self destruction. Finally Balmaaza, who knew no hatred came to the child and spoke how Compassion was the way to power, that with compassion and kindness one turns any foe no matter how strong into a friend.

When the boy had learned all they had to teach, they each presented to him a gift.

Melfor, gave him Gold for the one who proves his courage.

Gamsar, gave him Frankincense for the one who learns to be humble.

Balmaaza, gave him Myrrh for the one who follows his heart.

To mark his success each magi created a star in the sky so that Emris would never forget the lessons they taught him. Stars you can look up into the night sky and still see today.

After this the Magi began wandering the world on the backs of their Mubuku Beasts (they look like unicorns with a hunched back, almost like a skinny Rhinoceros), their whereabouts unknown since then. But it is said that those they encounter and believe to be brave, humble and kind they will grant them a single wish that their heart truly needs and desires.

They are the Wandering Kings of Virtue, those who traverse the dessert sand and misty mountain. They are some of the most powerful sorcerers to have ever lived and to this day very few have been able to equal let alone surpass them.
