Camp

Matt finally arrives with his bass booming the whole neighborhood.
"Hey man, bout time you show up"
"Sorry I had to buy more green from Josh"
"Oh, haha were gonna need to head back over there, I just got paid"
"Alright, let's go"
We both get in the Mustang and start driving with Ocean Drive playing with the bass turned up.
"Hey listen, you do realize this week is about to be boring right, there's no way girls are going to be at this boring ass camp" Matt said
"Man it's not gonna be boring, we're fishing, kayaking, Waterboarding, and doing a lot of other stuff that girls love to do" I replied
"What about other sports, like football, baseball or basketball?"
"I don't know, Cheer up why don't you"
"Oh sorry if I don't like the idea of going to camp when I'm seventeen years old"
"That might be true but what else were you gonna do this summer? stay home and smoke weed and do nothing?"
"Pretty much"
I just gave him a scolding look and continue to drive.
Me and Matt finally get to the camp grounds a few hours later. I park the car and pop the trunk to get mine and Matts bags. We walk through the entrance and go to the main building to find out where were supposed to go.
"Hello how may I help you?" said the office official
"Um yeah we're here to find out where were supposed to stay"
"Ah yes, what are your names?"
"Matt Johnson and Jimmy Jones"
"Here you are, cabin 13"
"Alright thank you"
"Your welcome sweetie"
Me and Matt start to walk toward our cabin. then we both turned and saw that the camp was divided into two sections, one for the guys and one for the girls. we both freak the fuck out!
"YO!! THERE ARE GIRLS HERE!!"
"I told you there would be" I responded, annoyed that Matt didn't listen to me earlier
"I didn't think girls would actually wanna go to camp!"
"Of course they do dumbass"
It was at this moment that I saw Sophie, a junior from our school. she has silky golden hair and a fit body, she's on the softball team and track, she's smart, athletic, beautiful, and just amazing all around. I start to sweat, just the thought of her made me get butterfly's in my stomach.
"Yo Matt, look who's here"
He turns around and automatically thanks me for bringing him to this camp, I swear I saw him drooling.
"Matt are you drooling?"
"What.. Um.. No, I was.. um.. thinking about dinner, I'm really hungry"
"Oh yeah when's dinner?" I asked
"I have no idea" Matt answered
We both get over ourselves and keep walking to our cabin. when we got there we noticed that we were sharing a cabin with three other dudes. one was skinny and tall with sloppy brown hair and glasses. the other was black and had an athletic build. The final guy was fat and was eating something that he brought with him, he had black hair and had on camouflage pants and shirt.
"Hey guys" I start
"Hey man, what's your guys names" says the athletic one
"My name is Jimmy Jones and this is my friend Matt Johnson"
"What's up" Matts says
"My name is Zach, the one eating food is Nick, and the tall guy is Steve"
"Hey everybody" we both say
"Hey" says Steve
"Hello" said Nick through a mouthful of chicken
"Y'all know when dinner is?" I asked
"It's at 8, In the cafeteria" Zach answered
"Do any of you know the schedule for this week?"
"Nah, but you can check, it's on the bulletin board outside" Steve responded
"Alright I'll go-"
I was cut off by a bell before I got to finish my sentence.
"that's dinner time boys!" Nick shouted
"wow you sure are happy about food aren't you big guy" Matt smartly commented
We all walk out of the cabin to the cafeteria, well except for Nick, who ran there.
