Her silent tears woke me up. She wasn't in my arms anymore. I know that because when I reached out for her, I had only felt the coldness of the mattress. I sat up and found her sitting on my window seal wiping her tears away.
I stood up, a little to fast because then next thing I knew I was on the ground. After recovering I went to where Lucy was. She was now looking at me as her tears slowly fell.
I sit down next to her and she rest her head on my shoulder. I rub her back more like massage her and let her cry.
"It's ok Lucy, it's ok," I say. She shakes her head.
"It'll never be the same anymore." I didn't know why she was crying and to be honest I was to scared to ask.
"Lucy, I love you. So I hate to see you like this, can you please tell me whats wrong so I can fix it?" I asked her.
"You can't fix it, when someone's gone, they're gone. They're never coming back." She sobs into my shoulder.
(If you haven't caught on, her dad died)
"Oh gosh Lucy i'm so sorry. We can talk about it if you want." She nods.
"He's gone he's never coming back. I told him that I never wanted to see him ever again when I left my home. I told him that when he was ready to raise his child right to come get me. I thought he never changed. I knew he would never change. But I was wrong. He's gone, he disappeared. He's gone forever and I can't take back anything that I told him. I called him once and asked if he had changed, he said he had and to come back home... When I did he was waiting there with a man, a man I was supposed to marry so I ran away again. I told him so many things I shouldn't have had. Things that I should have gotten slapped for. Yet he just stood there and took it all. Like a big slap on the face." She started crying again. "I wish I could hold him one more time, I wish we could go to the park and hang out like we used to every Saturday. I shouldn't have taken him for granted. I should've loved him like I was going to loose him. Ironic huh no matter how much I try I wish to go back in time and allowed myself to marry that man and follow my dads rules."
He sobs turned silent again.
"Lucy, you want to know something." She nodded. "I know you wished for all of that but... If you didn't run away, where would you be right now? 17 and pregnant? 17 and married? You wouldn't have found me. You would have never found your old playmate! Lucy this is going to sound horrible but i'm glad you left that second time. Now promise me that next time you love someone you won't 'take them for granted' that you'll 'Love them like you're going to lose them.' Because just like your father the person you love most after him could be gone within a second. They'll disappear forever."
I held her close to me. He sobs were quieting down now. Her eyes were puffy and red. But she was still my beautiful angel.
"Your right Natsu, i'm going to keep loving you and i'm not taking it for granted. I'm going to love you like there is no tomorrow." She said hugging me.
"Let's go to bed i'm tired." I grab her hand and drag her to bed. I wrap my arms around her and soon enough i'm asleep.

"Natsu~~" A soft voice says. "Come one last week before school ends for the winter." I open an eye and see the love of my life in front of me. Her eyes arn't puffy anymore but there a little red. I grab her by the back of her neck and kiss her.
"Good morning beautiful what time is it." She looks at me shocked and then smiles.
"Its 7 in the morning and if you don't get your butt up i'm going to drag you to school."
I get up and dress then I walk to the bathroom and wash my face then I do the other things.
(Sorry i'm to sleep deprived to write everything he does)
"Well I thought you would never wake up." My dad says as I walk through the kitchen doors. "Lucy will be right out you just have to wait for her."
"How long will she be?"
"I don't know, her fathers agents are here to talk to her about the business. I'm guessing you heard about Jude?" I slowly nod remembering what had happened last night.
"She was heartbroken." I say.
"Jude may have been the worst father ever but he still loved her. And she still loved him. After everything he put her through she still had faith that he was going to change." I nod.
"Alright we can leave now Natsu." Lucy says walking in. "Good morning Mr. Dragneel."
"Good morning sweety how you feeling?" He asks passing her some candy like if she were a little girl.
"I'm good, you?"
"I'm good, well you kids better get going if you want to make it on time."
I grab my bag and Lucy and walk out the door with her. Today were walking even though it's like -23 degrees.
I see Lucy shiver so I grab my scarf and wrap it around her.
"Thanks Natsu."
"No problem babe." I say with a wink. She wraps her arm around mine just as we enter the school gates.
"Please don't tell anyone yet. Especially Levy, I don't want them to feel bad for me."
"Ok." I say.
Right as we enter the school we see something... something bad. Erza is standing in between Mira and the girl that- you know K.I.S.S.E.D me at the formal.
"Erza what's going on?" I ask her as we approach.
"Well Kugura here said something that offended Mira and Mira being a she devil almost got in a fight."
"Why don't you let me throw a few punches with her Erza come one scared that i'm better at fighting than you?" Mira said. Erza's aora changed into a dark one. I took a step back.

Then they started yelling and Lucy pushed me away from them. At least I thought it was Lucy.
"Woah what are you doing?" I said to the girl from the dance. I yank my hand back and glare at her.
"Hi remember me?"
"Yeah I remember you"
"My names Kagura whose that girl that was clinging to your arm?" She says with a smirk.
"You know damn well who that is and if you don't leave us alone then your in for it." I say.
"Oh come on don't be like that. I'm only trying to have fun. By the way, this isn't over." She whispers in my ear and walks away.
I shiver.
"Natsu were you are what happened one second you were with me the next you disappeared."
"It's nothing I needed to get away from the two monster." I say and she laughs.
"Yeah theyre beating eachother up as we speak."
Another shiver runs down my back.
"Lets get out of here before they destroy the whole building." I grab her hand and walk us to first hour.
