I opened my eyes,
but it was too bright that I couldn’t see anything.
The only thing I see was a shadow trying to wake me.
My vision slowly cleared and I saw a boy.
It was the same boy from the mirror.
His face was so close to mine.
“Are you okay?”
he asked me.
Feathers were falling everywhere and before I knew it,
my wings were gone.
I slowly stood up and looked at myself.
I was still wearing my pure white gown and my halo but my wings were gone.
I felt my tears slowly running down my cheeks,
it was hopeless. How could I go back, if my wings were gone?
Suddenly,
I felt something warm and before I realize it,
the boy from earlier was hugging me and never let me go.
“I don’t know what happened,”
He said,
patting on my head.
“You just fell from above and feathers flew everywhere.”
He paused, then he looked at my eyes.
“But please don’t cry...everything will be okay it the end...trust me...”
he smiled at me. It was a really warm smile that lightened up my cold heart.
I love him.
Months have passed and it seems like I already forgotten about my wings.
I stayed with the boy and he took care of me.
He was so kind to me and we became really close.
Until one day,
my wings started to grow.
Is it time for me to fly and say goodbye?
Questions kept bugging my mind but all I wanted was to stay by his side.
No one is waiting;
I just wish it was him.
My wings healed that May.
I have to go.
Love is so painful,
can someone change destiny??
If we were meant to be,
we’ll surely be together.
I just wished someday,
we’ll both fly to the heaven’s gate....
